- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

The placements of our college are good. This year 90 %of our seniors get placed in different companies. If you want to get a higher paid job then you have to apply off campus placements. The companies which come to our college give the average package of 4 lakhs.

Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, students are eligible to sit in campus placement. approximately 200 companies visited the previous year but the Infosys Wipro Tech Mahindra cognizant are the mass recruiters. Approximately 70-75 percent of students get placed. The placement percent is good but you can not expect premium packages from on campus. Max to the max you can get 8 lacs from college placement so don't expect too much regarding placement.

Companies like Infosys, Wipro, cognizant, Mahindra visit the campus for mass recruitment.
The average package is 3.5 lakh.

When you get to the third year the pressure and responsibility for the placement get started. Companies start coming to the college during 6 semesters.
You can get a decent package from the college placements depending on your abilities. The package varies from 4 lakhs to 15 lakhs.
Most of the students get placed about 90% of them.
I may be studying further after the degree.

The average package here is 4 lakhs per year for on campus and you can get up to 8 lakhs on campus. Almost 80% of students get placement and the placement is highest for CSE and IT students.

You can appear in the placement after your 5 or 6 semester or 3rd year. A lot of companies visit our college every year. Companies like Wipro , TCS , Infosys , Tech Mahendra etc. The highest package of our college is 24 lakh and the average package is 6 lakhs. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies .

The placement of the college is average. Companies do visit the college like Wipro, cognizant, Capgemini etc and also some core companies visit the college like HPL, PCBL and moreover IT companies are mass recruiters so they take lots of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I am choosing the chemical engineering branch of this college. This college student rated 8 out of 10. Very good teaching process at this college. This college arranged class tests per week and the last final exam was conducted.

Placement Experience:
Campus placement is very good core and software are more than 90 companies are come to college. Student get campus placement during 5th semester and many companies like TCS Infosys Capgemini Adobe Microsoft capparish all these company we can get internships and campus placement. College conducted coding competition and soft skill for intriview preparation in CSE department highest package above 4.5L to 8.0L almost more than 85 percentage student can get placed and this 2021 yr our college placement is 18lakh in ECE department one of my senior can placed in Amazon and other student can't sit in any companies they are preparing from competition exam like GATE,UPSC, BANKING JOB ETC
And our plans after getting the degree I can start our business and startup because I can't work under anyone Because so many problems are comes and senior and company pressure I can't tolerate.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
