- It has a good faculty of professors who a experienced and have a great knowledge to share.
- Great connect with companies which helps the students to get their placements.
- I liked efforts taken by faculties, infrastructure, events, participation of students in different events. all the students are quite helpful, the canteen food and hostle food is good.

- Canteen are not too good and food is unhealthy
- The first thing i dislike is the syllabus, you are provided with the old regular portion . No latest technologies are thought. Its a like studying one day before exam and passing and no knowledge stuff that u need to survive in this era of ai

Yeah about the curriculum it's not that so its too old fashioned so it's nod good
Yeah teaching methods are improving but government should try to improve their curriculum so we can learn new things

- The location of our campus is at hilly area which is in Ponda, Farmagudi. The view over here is excellent and talking about the campus its beautiful as it is surrounded by nature . The size of all the department is descent and very great place too.
- The second thing i like is that is our library which is the second largest library in goa after goa University. So any one who needs latest books or wants to prepare for the exams and even for those who love reading stuffs .
- The third thing i love is that is our annual college event known as TANDAV which is the most popular inter department event within our college. This event is famous in many colleges in Goa and people from different place come to watch or event.
Dislikes
- The first thing i dislike is the syllabus, you are provided with the old regular portion . No latest technologies are thought. Its a like studying one day before exam and passing and no knowledge stuff that u need to survive in this era of ai
- Second thing is practical knowledge. No one cares about your practicals here, you are just given the problem statement and u have start implementing it. We are never thought why is it important or how to improve it.
- Guys if your taking addmission in GEC just forget about any vacation plan, as this college will ruine your plan. No semester break are there, if there are any than for 2 to 3 days.
Course Curriculum Overview:
There are many subjects which are really good to build your fundamentals as an engineer. bit there are many subjects which are just waste of time, even the students don't attend those lectures. But the core subjects like DSA , OS, OOPS, CN , OPERATING SYSTEMS are there in your curriculum and you are widely asked questions on these topics for the interview. This just for IT department

- The college campus is really good. GEC has a different vibe all together.

- Some basic facilities in hostels were not good. Also sometimes street lights did not use to work.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is slightly outdated but its the basics that are needed to be covered so I would not complain much about it.
Curriculum could be slightly more industry-focused as many students lack the practical knowledge of whats needed in the industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Currently from my batch onwards curriculum and syllabus is made very precise. Only the relevent things which are most important are taught and unnecessary things are removed from the previous syllabus.

It is vast but at the same time it can be managed in the time given because all the material available on youtube which helps in fast coverage of syllabus and easy to understand topics are there which builds the concept

- Placements are good for CS/IT , almost 70% people got placed even in this recession, packages range from 3-10Lpa
- Less academic pressure so you can focus on ur other technical skills
- Events , may it be inter department or inter college , Technical , cultural, best among other Goan colleges
Dislikes
- Almost none opportunities for other than cs,it PPL wrt placements
- Hostels are not that good , washrooms are not maintained properly being my reason not to stay at hostels
- Location,ponda , not much things to explore at ponda during college time
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is new here. ,ie rc-19-20 , students can visit the website and check out for the syllabus , it's a good blend of core subjects and it's application subjects for this latest trends going on in cs field

- College canteen was not good. There were worms in the food the was being served.
- Some of the teaching staff is not at good in their profession
Placement Experience:
We have many campus placement opportunities in GEC. Various companies from Goa as well as outside Goa come for placement interviews. It varies from startups to multinational companies. Companies offer money in the range 3 lakhs per annum to 15 lakhs per annum. There are few companies that offer paid internship before placement. We also have 2 month internship period in our 7th sem. The companies, if they like the students work then they offer the job as well. As per now, more than 250 students have been placed this year out of 400 students, and still there are companies still yet to come.

I choosed this course because I always wanted to do it and i like this field so I have chooses this and this college is good in this fields so I wanted admission here. it's diffluct to study this course.

- It's a really good college it's a widespread area and college campus is great even the classes are good all the labs are also very good with air conditioner
Dislikes
- The electricity supply is not good specially in summers there's no current on a regular basis but not for long time to be honest
Placement Experience:
To what I've heard about the placement it is good for my course that is computer engineering only if the students CGPA is v good along with other abilities and skills which matters the most for placement

- There are stray cattles in the campus making it dirty.
Course Curriculum Overview:
All the faculties are well qualified with Ph.D. and master's degrees. The teaching skills of faculties are good. There is timely completion of the syllabus with completion and submission of all assignments on time. Term exams were taken on a monthly basis and it is not much difficult to pass the exam.
