Hostel Facilities :

This may sound cheesy but my hostel is the best hostel I have ever seen in my life. I have studied in boarding schools before but this hostel is best of them all. It is designed with such a precision and manner that every room is naturally ventilated by the breeze from the breathtaking nature in the campus. Hostel building is bigger than our college building so now you can understand how spacious it is. The engineering is just marvelous. Though during rain time this comes to a disadvantage because of the openings a lot of rain water comes in the corridor but it is washed away the next day by the cleaning staff who are regularly scheduled everyday to clean each room and attached bathrooms too. 3 cadets lives in one room. The mess food is average. It's not that good but not that bad also. It's just good and the quality provided is sufficient to fulfill our needs. But sometimes it does happen that the quality is degraded but it taken care by the MESS COMMITTE MEMBERS which includes cadets only who are in charge of the mess. They take notes and suggestions from the students and forward it to the mess incharge and monthly meetings are also help to make sure the cadets are provided with a better meal every day. There are two cadet mess which are large enough to accommodate more than 1000 students of our college including BSc Nautical and B tech marine engineering cadets. The college take 75thousand for all the hostel charges and the mess charges 18thousand per semester.

Infrastructure is the main attraction which motivate the students to join this college and stay motivated. The college also provides the best education in pune. One of the Best teaching faculties of this country are here to help and share there knowledge with there students. All the faculties emphasise more on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. These are the things I like the most about this college.

I chose Manet and opted for BSc. Nautical Science which is one of the course in marine field in deck department to get in the field of merchant navy because this college has its own reputation when it comes to quality education.Along with that it has good infrastructure, friendly environment and always have a scope for students to learn new things in their selected course. Yes, it's a truth that the placement record from few years is not as good as expected. You have to work very hard to get placed. So, the college needs to work in this field. But the faculties there, are very experienced and possess wide range of knowledge. They always try their best in their capacity to help each student t

Good Infrastructure for marine studies with decent placement history was the driving factor. Faculties are also very trained and experienced. The ship-in campus inside the main campus seemed one of the best in maritime colleges.
