Admission to the college is primarily through EAMCET counseling, requiring a rank of at least 35,000. The admission process is efficient, completed within an hour after submitting necessary documents. Students must pay the minimum JNTUH fee within a week to secure their seat. The college is renowned for its serene environment and competent faculty, particularly in civil and mechanical engineering, enhancing campus placements. Faculty qualifications are high, with a minimum requirement of a PhD and two years of experience, contributing to a favorable faculty-student ratio of 1:20.

While modern teaching technologies are employed, practical teaching, particularly in labs, requires improvement. The college conducts its own semester exams, which are easier than JNTU's.
