MACE Kothamangalam Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students start to get placement calls from 6th semester. The major companies recruiting are Cognizant, TCS, Ust global, Wipro,etc.Most of the hogher salary placement is for students pursing in the computer science department. The highest salary package is 33 lakhs per annum and the average salary package is 3 lakh per annum.More than 70 percent of the students gets placed in good companies with good salary package. My plan is to do MS in AI in foreign country

Many companies in and around the world have recruited students and alumnis from the college . Last year for the chandrayaan mission a total of fifty - five people were from this college from various branches . Students start getting placed by the middle of 3rd semester . Many students have also started their own start-ups

The curriculum here now is of Kerala technological University. College has gained autonomous title, so from next year the curriculum will change. The curriculum of ktu is not that great, they stress lot on theory while giving less importance to practical knowledge. You have to gain practical knowledge by yourself. But everybody hopes that it will change when college releases it's own curriculum and syllabus. After all it's one of the best colleges in Kerala.

Students become eligible for campus placements from there 3rd year of course.In 2022 they have a total of 780 offers and about 450 students were placed.Main companies include Cognizant,TCS, tUST global etc. The highest package was 33.34 lpa by virtusa and the average package is about 4-5 lpa.As we check the past placement details about 60-75% students are placed in every year by campus placements.My plan is to secure a descent lpa placement after my degree,if it is not achieved then I will go for my masters.

Third year onwards you will start placements. Most students get placed in IT jobs. Core jobs are rare and pay measly salary. Placement details should be available on the website. Definitely not a 100 percentage placement. From what I have seen, most of my batchmates are going for further education since the placements are not very lucrative. Those placed in core companies are hanging on. This could be due to the bonds they have to sign. I am switching my field since mechanical Engineering, as much as I love it, cannot sustain the dreams that I have for my future.

Curriculum consist of entire civil engineering. The course would be beneficial for the people who look forward to work on core branches. From basics to high level concepts are delivered.Faculties are doing good. Some more practical works should be included in ciricculum

I choose this course because I like this college very much and my KEAM rank was around 5000 so I opt electronics and communication. The faculty's are really nice and very friendly towards students.In one year there are two semesters.

Semester 5 students become eligible for placements. So far about 70% of students in the department have been placed. The highest offer was 12 lakhs p.a and the lowest is 3lpa. The average offer was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were IBM, Zoho, KeyValue, TISMO, Federal Bank, etc. Of these, about 4-6 companies have offered internships and many will start their internship drives in the coming months. My plans after getting the degree are to go for higher studies.

We have a great and supportive placement cell and my mates have been placed in different companies for around 6 months. They provide the proper training and stuff to do good in exams and are very supportive.

The Main advantage of this college is having a good placement cell. Placement cells have separate buildings and staff. From the 6th semester, you can attend placements. CS & EC departments have 100% placements. Mechanical and civil have less placement compared to other branches. The highest package is 16LPA and the lowest is 3.6LPA. If you don't have arrears, you can easily get a good job from MACE.
