Fee structure here is every year 60000 INR and that included bus service and other facilities like library, sports etc. and for sc/st students is 28000 INR the other amount is paid by the government of karnataka.
the course consisting of 4 years and the having 8 semester and each semester consists of 6 subjects and 2 practical subjects for the first year the subjects are same after that the subjects will vary depend upon the branch, and at the last year one project and one industrial internship is compulsory.
Back then in 2007 it was kind of affordable but now I do not think so as fee is increased and govt quota itself is quite expensive. I had got free seat for 9200 Rs but I cannot compare that with present expense so if you have good amount of money then you can choose any college.
Course curriculum is good but there were no faculty for couple of subjects which caused problem and we had to learn on our own and score in exam. Even though we faced problem but had to learn on our own mostly. I used to get notes from Senior's and then study from that and also discuss with others.
My college had a good structure of academics subjects like analog electronics, network analysis were my favorite practicals like microelectronics, hdl were innovative i liked electronics so i had keen interest in my subjects all teachers in my college were good at teaching.
Mechanical engineering course teachers you the various working mechanisms of day to day life machines we use. So the entire course is divided into eight semesters. Each year having two semesters.
I choose this course as I found it helpful to enter into teaching field also it would give me a wide scope of learning. It was a new course offered by the college at that time which had a good scope.
My personal opinion on the given areas was too good. The academics was brilliant and the highly qualified staff makes it simple as it was. But daily curriculum was not bad because if the labs were not there then there will be misadjustment of the time table
