Placement Experience
Placement cell is good. Not 100% of students placed on college placement but almost 70-80% of students placed through placement. You can take an eye on the college main website for placement details of previous 3 or 5 years and also find those names who were placed through placement. TCS, Cognizant, are mass recruiters for Kolkata students.
Remarks
This is one of the top private colleges after IEM and Techno Main Salt Lake. The faculty is very good. Teachers are also friendly to students and very helpful. They always give motivation for studying. They encourage every student. The courses offered by the college are the same as the others. But every student needs a secure job after their BTech. So in this college, the placement of CE, EE, ECE, CSE are very good. Almost 80% of students placed by college placement. Average package is around 3 lakhs to 4 lakhs per annum. This year a new course is offered by the college is Computer science and Business System. It's a very good opportunity for those who will have a plan for an MBA in future. They will get a massive advantage in future for higher studies and also for the college placement. Admission to this college is proceeding through WBJEE, JEE and Management Quota. I got this college in the 3rd round of counselling according to my wbjee rajk. The Institute has a student population mainly from eastern and north-eastern India. Students are admitted into undergraduate B.Tech course in July and August, based on their performances in WBJEE or AIEEE. Admission into B.Tech course in MSIT is competitive and requires good rank in WBJEE or AIEEE.

its quite good with a campusing percentage of 65. this year almost all of my batch mates are placed with a minimum package of 3.5 lac. companies like tcs, cts, Lti etc are the major recruiter.

My interest towards Electrical engineering and this branch was good in that college and the supporting nature of faculty about which my friend told me earlier and the campus is beautiful and many other things

The college is under Techno India group. So, it's easier to get placed during campussing. Apart from that there was no such other reasons for which I opted for this college. Later I found that the faculty and the labs are quite good.

The institute is close to my house. And it's convenient enough cycling to college. The one plus point to this college is if you don't get elsewhere here is your last spot. More to say labs are of good standard only if the things workout out well.
