- Our college is equipped with a lot of good professors who knew the subject in depth.
- They will also help anyone preparing for UPSC ESE or GATE.
- The placement committee will also work hard to bring as many companies as possible.
Dislikes
- Attendance criteria were too strict which was not necessary especially in 3rd year.
- Campus size is depressing like no play ground no proper cafeteria but just beside our college was HITK which had proper playground and cafeteria.
- Some teachers were arrogant and stubborn.
Placement Experience:
The placement committee will work hard to bring companies and during my batch 2018-2022 almost every IT companies came and almost 90% of our batchmates got placed, some of them even got more than 1 offers. Highest package was grabbed by CSE folks 32 LPA Amazon SDE.

- Cultural fest, event, Football and Cricket tournament occurred in college
- Well trained faculty members. Always help you to solve your doubts.
- Neat and clean College campus. Everywhere CCTV camera is installed for safety purpose.
Dislikes
- Insufficient of classrooms and labs in our college.
- No playground. So we have to organize tournament or any match outside of the college.
- No more sufficient space to organize cultural fest, event.
Placement Experience:
About 70% got placement through campus interview.
Top recruiters of our college are TCS, CAPGEMINI, WIPRO ETC many more leading organizations.

- PROFESSORS ARE VERY HELPFUL. EVERY DEPARTMENT HAVE THEIR OWN FACULTIES. TEACHERS TRY TO HELP US IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY. THEY ALSO GIVE NOTES AND SUGGESTIONS IN EVERY DEPARTMENTS FOR STUDENTS TO PASS IN EXAMS.
- THE TEACHERS ALSO HELP VARIOUS CLUBS IN THEIR SOCIAL WORKS. THERE ARE SEVERAL SOCIAL CLUBS IN OUR COLLEGE AND THEY ORGANISE VARIOUS PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THERE IS ONE CLUB FOR TREE PLANTATION, ANOTHER ONE WORKS TO HELP THE NEEDY PEOPLE.
- ANOTHER THING IS THAT STUDENTS EARN VARIOUS CERITFICATES BY PARTICIPATING IN THOSE PROGRAMS. THESE CERTIFICATES GET US MAR POINTS FOR FREE.
Dislikes
- THE COLLEGE CAMPUS IS VERY SMALL OR RATHER I CAN SAY THAT THERE IS NO CAMPUS IN OUR COLLEGE THERE ARE ONLY BUILDINGS. WE DONT HAVE ANY PLAYGROUND IN OUR COLLEGE. THE SPORTS CLUBB HAVE TO BOOK A GROUND EVERY YEAR FOR SPORTS ACTIVITIES AND TOURNAMENTS
- OUR COLLEGE IS U DER MAKAUT UNIVERSITY. WE HAVE TO STUDY VERY HARD TO PASS THE EXAMS. ONE BACKLASH ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY IS THAT IF A STUDENT HAS TAKEN VERY GOOD EXAM,HE/SHE CANNOT EXPECT TO PASS. THE ANSWER SCRIPT CHECKERS CAN ALSO FAIL THE STUDENT.
- THE PLACEMENT CELL IN OUR COLLEGE IS SLOWLY DYING. IT STUDENTS HAVE GOT VERY LESS JOBS FROM OUR COLLEGE, MOST OF THE HIGHLY PLACED STUDENTS ARE THE CORE ENGINEERS. EVEN IF THE STUDENT GETS ANY INTERNSHIP FROM OFF CAMPUSING OPPORTUNITIES, THE DIRECTO

STUDENTS CAN GET VARIOUS INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FROM THE THIRD YEAR. BUT IT IS ONLY FOR THE TOPPERS. THERE ARE MANY STUDENTS WHO WORK HARD AND GET INTERNSHIPS BY APPLYING OFF CAMPUS. THE PLACEMENT CELL ALSO DOESNT WORK MUCH TO PROVIDE INTERNSHIPS FOR STUDENTS.

- Faculties are good as and teaches us according to our curriculum
- Placement is good for non core branches and sometimes for core as well
- Girls to boys ratio is very much good across all courses in college
Dislikes
- Attendance criteria enforcing us to attend class
- Unnecessary PDIM classes for placement which is absolute waste of time
Placement Experience:
My plans after getting the degree is going for higher studies as the jobs they offer is around 6 to 7 lakhs and 80% students being placed. I want to go higher studies because the job or package they"ll offer won't suffice my efforts for studying for all these years.

TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, Sobha Ltd etc are top recruiters.
Highest package is 32 LPA from Amazon. Average package is 3.34 LPA.
60-70% of students get placed.

- The central library is good . They keep an quiet environment there
- Our Cse HOD is also good . He is a very helpful and respected through out the campus.
Dislikes
- There is no play ground . No environment for physical activity
- Some of the facilities are not good enough for the subject they are in.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Some of the curriculums are relevent and most of them are irrelevant . No sign of teaching really coarses based on real world problems. Most of them don't even fit for industry requirements. They are teaching us only the theories .

- The college library is very good and all the detailed study books are available for study purpose.
- The playground is big and covers a big area. All the events gets adjusted easily there
Dislikes
- During rainy season the area of the college gets water logged causing issues for the students while travelling there
- The course pressure is less, some more efforts can be given the teacher for betterment of students

Placement Experience:
The students gets eligible as soon as they reach the 7th semester for the pre placement programme organised by the campus placement cell of MSIT. Mostly 95% of the companies are IT based and 5% are from core engineering companies. Wipro, TCS, Mindtree, LTI spark and many other companies came here for recruitment purpose.
Highest package from my year was around 30 lpa and average package was around 3.5-4lpa. around 65% if the students got placed during my year

The course is very relevant the college follows maulana abdul kalam azad university's syllabus and the paper comes from there to which is very hard which help to understand the present situationsofjob

- This college has a very small campus for an engineering college
- No own hostel , students have to rely on third party hostels
- Fee to more than the college offers , it should have been lesser

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course for my interest in computer science. It more or less helps in real world applications or further academic pursuits. The syllabus must be reconstructed and many useless topics and subjects can be avoided in our course.

- Faculties are qualified, knowledgeable and helpful.
- Training and placement support is provided.
Dislikes
- The size of the campus is very small and college does not have own playground.
- The fee is higher as compared to other colleges in West Bengal.
- Less number of class rooms due to small size of college.

Percentage of students placed is approximately 60%.
I would like to be placed in a company after the degree.
