PIET offers Bachelor of Engineering, B.Tech., B.Tech.(Lateral) and B.E.(Lateral) degree courses at the undergraduate level. Candidates are required to pass the 10+2/Class XII with English, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum 50% aggregate marks to be eligible to apply.

Candidates must have passed 3 years Diploma Course or B.Sc. degree course in the appropriate branch with minimum 50% aggregate marks to be eligible to apply for Lateral Entry program. Admission to B.E. and B.Tech. programs will be done through Central Admission Process based on JEE Main score. 

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of JEE Main score and marks obtained in class 10+2. Applicants who clear the cut-off score set by the institute will be called for the counselling process.

Selection of candidates for M.Tech courses is done on the basis of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and the marks scored at the graduation level. Those who clear the cut-off score will be called for the admission process.
