Candidates satisfying the stated MAH MCA CET 2018 Eligibility requirements can apply online for the exam.

• Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
• Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the examination.

• DTE will release a provisional merit list online for MAH MCA CET 2018 soon after the results are announced.
• A minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) is required to stand eligible for counselling.

MAH MCA CET 2018 Counselling

Commencement of MAH MCA CET Counselling 2018: April – May 2018

• For final admissions, MAH MCA CET 2018 Counselling will be carried out through CAP (Centralized Admission Process).
• Register for CAP rounds which will begin from April or May 2018.
• The steps involved in MAH MCA CET 2018 Centralized Admission Process are:

1. Visit the official website and look for the notification regarding the Counselling procedure.
2. On the official website, the available category wise seats in various institutes will be displayed for CAP Rounds I and II.
3. Fill up the application form for CAP rounds.
4. While filling the form, choose the institutions' preference in a decreasing order of preference.
5. After the preferred form is filled, applicants will be allotted an institute by DTE authority.
6. Aspirants will have a choice to either ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ the seat allotted.
7. If the applicants choose the ‘Freeze’ option, their seat in the particular institute will be confirmed and they will not be considered for further rounds.
8. If the aspirant chooses the ‘Float’ option, the seat offered to them will be confirmed but if he gets admission to another institution of higher preference then they will accept it or else continue in the institute previously offered to them.

Once students accept the seat, they must visit the allotted institute for verification of documents and scrutiny of certificates. The admission process will finally be complete after successful verification of documents.

Ans. After the successful completion of your application form through online mode, you will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number with the enrollment or Registration number. Moreover, your “Filled in Online Application form” containing all the information uploaded from database and entered by you along with Registration number and Barcode will be displayed instantly.

Ques. What should I do with the “Filled in Application Form”?

Ans. The candidate has to take a print of the “Filled In Application Form”, keep a copy of this form and preserve it carefully. Use the Registration number printed in the “Filled In Application Form” for all future correspondence.

Ques. Is there any need to upload any certificates?

Ans. No, you do not have to upload any certificates. In case of reserved category, SC/ ST certificates are required to be uploaded where ever required. 

Ques. Should I upload my photograph and signature?

Ans. Yes, at the time of registration you need to upload the Photo (file size less than 50KB and JPG file format) and Signature (File Size less than 15KB and JPG file format).

Ques. Due to some unavoidable reasons, I will not be able to appear for MAH MCA CET. Will I get a refund of my application fee?

Ans. No, the fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Ans. The organizing body will allot a center to the aspirants accordingly. It is alloted as per the availability and also on the basis of who filled in the option first. Make note exam center once allotted will not be changed under any circumstance.

Ques. Is there negative marking in MAH MCA CET?

A: Yes, there is provision for negative marking in MAH MCA CET. Every incorrect answer would attract a penalty of -0.5 marks.

Ques. Can I pay the MAH MCA CET Application fees in cash through a bank?

Ans. No, the MAH MCA CET Application Fee paid offline will not be accepted. The payment can be made online only using the integrated payment gateway on the official website, using either Net Banking or Credit/Debit Cards or IMPS/Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets.
