First of all, it is an autonomous institute and has a good placement record in CS/IT branch and provides the best ROI, unlike PVG which is neither an autonomous institute nor has good placement. Both of them have minimum complimentary campus infrastructure. VIIT falls under one of the emerging and best universities in Maharashtra i.e. Vishwakarma University. Ans. It is difficult to compare two different institutes and two different courses. You should choose the course you are interested in and the college according to that. Faculty: The Electronics and Telecommunications engineering department at VIIT Pune has approximately 25 professors and almost 16 faculties have Ph.Ds with 12 years of experience. Whereas, the IT department of PVGCOET has 11 highly qualified faculty members. Laboratories: VIIT has awesome Electronics and Telecommunications labs such as 3 computer labs, 4 hardware labs, one virtual lab, and 7 sponsored laboratories with LAN and WiFi internet connection. In PVGCOET, there are 5 IT laboratories as per the requirement of SPPU and AICTE. Alumni: The alumni strength of VIIT Pune is stronger than PVGCOET. More than 1000 alumni of VIIT are working with reputed and multinational companies across the country as well as foreign. As the location of this College is pretty good. This makes this college to be located at the heart of the city, So you may get so many places equidistant. But the campus is quite small. It was second-best college for electrical engineering in Pune university after College of Engineering Pune. It has great staff for electrical and all of the students are topper here. One need to go though he CET exam from admission. I got admitted through the dte's procedure. DTE handles the admission procedure of almost every engineering college in Maharashtra. So I just followed DTE's procedure which is available on DTE's official website.

Remarks :

I got admission in this college by CAP round. After completing diploma i filled up online form fir degree colleges and accordingly merit lists comes out i have 78% in diploma last year i allot this college at first CAP round.

Remarks :

College is nice, all facilities and academics are too good but infrastructure is small as compared to other engineering colleges. All faculty is too co operative to solve any doubts of academics. Faculties having lots of knowledge and experience.
