supporting students in research publications and patents publication
Course Curriculum Overview:
the curriculum is practical up to date and the assignments are project based that encourages better understanding.
the assignments are also real world based that require ,the students, to undestand the subjects better.
there are 3 internal test with lab tests include that test the student's knowledge in the subject
Placement oppertunities , research collaborations, internships , hackathons and student activities
Dislikes
Examination schedules , high security and scrict guidelines
Placement Experience:
placements here at rnsit starts from the 5th semester itself where 3rd years are elligible for the various training and placement activities . Private companies come to train and guide students and make them industry ready.
the highest package to a student is 56LPA and average rounds about 8LPA. More than 80% do get placed but a scrict criteria must be met which is dictated by the CDC and placement department.
In this college we have many sports encouragements and has more labs for execution purpose
this college has a well equiped teachers which has a greater advantge for the students
Dislikes
In this college everything is good i havent found any bad that is there regarding this college
Course Curriculum Overview:
All the courses are good in this college but in all of that Computer Science and Engineering and Machnicial staff has more experience and they teaches very well and has good knowledge about the subject they are teaching
Teacher's have the required knowledge and experience
Dislikes
Partiality of the teachers to some students
Placement Experience:
Placements are pretty good with the most placement happening in CS department and its branches. Placements are not satisfactory in Civil, Mechanical and ECE. Average placement in CSE is about 5 lakhs per annum.
College campus wise is pretty good. Although, some facilities aren't available to the students.
Infrastructure provided is pretty good and decent
Placement drives are probably better than other colleges of the same tier.
Dislikes
Lack of cultural activities and sports fests
To much delay in the supports provided by the college (monetarily or otherwise))
Placement Experience:
The placement group is very good. Lot of companies come by almost everyday.
The placement committee is hardworking and do their best for the students.
A large range of companies visit the campus for placement.
While other colleges have less to no placements, this college has moderate number of companies visiting.
Faculty expertise and mentorship are highly qualified.
Placement service and career support are very active
Dislikes
Course curriculum still needs to be improved
Students support for the Non IT batches can be improved
Faculty teaching methods can be improved
Placement Experience:
The placements are RNSIT are quite impressive.Students become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester ,however the training and mock interviews begins in 5th semester.Highest package was 56lpa from adobe.
I really like the faculty ,they are supportive and help you with internships and placements.
I really like the infrastructure of the college ,it has spacious food court ,auditorium ,library and classrooms.
The most likeable factor is the flexibility of the timings. It starts from 8:40 AM to 2:50/3:50 PM with long short breaks of 30&50 minutes in between
Dislikes
The uniform is really ugly blue colour and the pant is really ill fitting and uncomfortable.
In internals there are two main subjects per day which makes it very difficult to study.
The CSE department building has Indian toilets and the washrooms are very smelly.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements from seventh or eighth semester depending upon their choice of placement.
If it is an internship program then students are eligible from sixth semester.
Percentage of students getting placements are very high as out of 220 students 198 were placed in good companies from the last pass out batch in information science department
My plans after my engineering degree is to get into a good university in the United States of America and do my masters in computer science field itself.
I like College infrastructure as it is very good and different from other colleges
There are many cultural events in this college and it's good to participate in those
Many activities which builds student character and their communication skills
Dislikes
The college is little strict about the uniform and internal disciplinary
The college is right on front of the main road
Huge amount of class strength in a single class
Placement Experience:
Placements starts from the 5th semester and very reputed companies / organisation come here and recruit students with good packages.. After BCA you can complete your masters that is MCA which has more weightage and you will get good offers from the company after completion of MCA !
Lab facilities was good along with the infrastructure .
Dislikes
Placements were upto the mark for some batches.
Could have been improved in providing events and functions .
Basic lab equipments needs improvements.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Rns institute of technology follows curriculum prescribed by visveswaraya technological university ( VTU ) , which governs the engineering colleges in karnataka.
The exams frequency was for every semister .
Wifi connectivity and parking is too far no space for parking
Placement Experience:

My journey at RNSIT has been a mix of rigorous academic discipline and strong career preparation. As an autonomous institution with a NAAC A+ grade, it stands as a reliable choice for engineering aspirants in Bangalore who value stability and a proven track record over a purely modern "startup-like" college culture.Academic Environment and Curriculum:The curriculum is updated to align with industry shifts, particularly in high-demand fields like AI, ML, and Cyber Security.

Being a part of Q Club at and serving as the Head has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college life. Q Club is not just a technical club — it is a platform where students get opportunities to explore innovation, teamwork, leadership, and practical learning beyond classrooms.
The club constantly encourages students to participate in workshops, technical events, project discussions, and collaborative activities that genuinely help in skill development. What makes Q Club special i

RNSIT offers an incredible research ecosystem for students. I’m grateful to Dr. Akshay Arjun for his mentorship; his guidance was vital in securing our patent for a NanoPhosphor-based Gamma Radiation Detection device. The college actively supports innovation through the Undergraduate Research Forum (URF), providing stipends and hosting competitions like Buildathons. There is a great emphasis on interdisciplinary projects that help us turn ideas into real-world success.
