RNSIT Bangalore Admission 2027 is open for BE, MBA, MCA and Ph.D. RNSIT is RNS Institute of Technology at Channasandra, on Dr. Vishnuvardhan Road in Bengaluru. It is an autonomous college affiliated to VTU, and it does not hold its own entrance test for KEA or COMEDK seats. BE seats are filled through KCET and KEA counselling, through COMEDK UGET and COMEDK counselling, or as management seats. MBA and MCA seats are filled through Karnataka PGCET and KEA counselling, or as management seats. A management BE seat in Computer Science cost INR 7.5 Lakhs a year for 2026 to 27. KCET 2027 registration should open on 16 Jan 2027 (tentative, based on last year).
RNSIT Bangalore BE Admission 2027
RNSIT had 1,800 BE seats in eight branches for the 2025 to 26 batch. Computer Science and Engineering is the largest, with 720 seats. CSE (AI and ML) has 360 seats, Electronics and Communication has 240, CSE (Data Science) has 180 and CSE (Cyber Security) has 120. Electrical, Mechanical and Civil have 60 each. For 2026 to 27, RNSIT also lists CSBS and Electronics Engineering (VLSI). Your rank and the order of your options decide the branch you get.
RNSIT Bangalore BE Eligibility 2027
You need to pass 2nd PUC or Class 12 with Physics and Maths. Your third subject can be Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics. You need 45% in these three subjects, with English as one of your languages. SC and ST students need 40%. For a management seat, you need a KCET, COMEDK UGET or JEE Main rank of this year. If you have none, you can write RNSAT, the RNSIT test for management seats.

Register for KCET on the KEA portal. Fill the COMEDK UGET form too if you want a second chance. After the result, upload your documents and put RNSIT branches in your option list. The KEA code for RNSIT is E118, and the COMEDK code is E104. When you get a seat, you pay the fee and report with your originals. For a management seat, you fill the RNSIT admission form and pay the first instalment.

RNSIT Bangalore BE Fees at Admission 2027
Your first year fee depends on how you got the seat. For 2026 to 27, KEA charged a general KCET student INR 1,20,320 or INR 1,30,320, by the fee type of the college. On a COMEDK seat, you paid up to INR 3.22 Lakhs at COMEDK. You then paid INR 27,320 at RNSIT if you are from Karnataka, or INR 29,120 if you are from another state. A management seat cost INR 1.1 Lakhs to INR 7.5 Lakhs a year.

RNSIT Bangalore MBA Admission 2027
The two year MBA at RNSIT started in 2004 with 60 seats. It now has 240 seats, and NBA has accredited it. The Department of MBA teaches the course and has its own website. Most students join through Karnataka PGCET and KEA counselling. RNSIT fills the management seats itself.
RNSIT Bangalore MBA Eligibility 2027
You need a bachelor's degree with 50% in total, counted over all subjects of all years. If you are an SC, ST or Category 1 student from Karnataka, you need 45%. You also need a Karnataka PGCET rank for a KEA seat. For a management seat, RNSIT lists PGCET and KMAT as the tests it takes.

On a PGCET seat, KEA sets your tuition fee and you pay it after the seat result. On a management seat, the MBA cost INR 3 Lakhs a year for 2026 to 27. RNSIT Bangalore MCA Admission 2027
The two year MCA at RNSIT started in 2003 with 60 seats. It grew to 120 seats in 2012, and it still has 120 seats. The Department of MCA teaches the course. Seats are filled through Karnataka PGCET and KEA counselling, and through the management quota.

The mandatory disclosure lists centres in CSE, ECE, EIE, Mechanical, Civil, MBA, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, EEE and ISE. Full time scholars can apply for the RN Shetty Doctoral Fellowship of INR 35,000 a month for three years.

You need a master's degree in a subject that matches the research centre. You also need a valid VTU entrance test score for research. A pass in UGC NET, CSIR NET, SLET, GATE or CAT with the right score also works. If you get a salary or another fellowship, you cannot take the RN Shetty fellowship.
