RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT), Bangalore, India is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. RNSIT was established in the year 2001. The candidates applying for PG programs need to register for GATE. The registration for GATE starts in the month of September. The application fee of GATE is INR 750.

Admission in M.Tech is done on the basis of marks scored in Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by KEA. Eligible candidates can also get admission in M.Tech through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
In order to seek admission in MCA and MBA, eligible candidates will have to appear in PGCET conducted by KEA. Candidates may also appear in KMAT.
