RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT), Bangalore, India is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. RNSIT was established in the year 2001. For PG programs, the selection is based on marks scored in GATE or PGCET conducted by KEA. Admissions to MBA and MCA are granted on the basis of KMAT/CAT/MAT/GMAT or Equivalent. While admission for M.Sc and Ph.D. programs will be offered through PGCET score.
The application process for KCET begins in the month of January every year while for COMEDK it starts in the month of February. The application fee of KCET exam is INR 650. The candidates applying for PG programs need to register for GATE. The registration for GATE starts in the month of September. The application fee of GATE is INR 750.

The college also offers M.Tech, MBA. MCA & M.Sc courses at PG level. Mode of application to all the courses is online. Admission in M.Tech is done on the basis of marks scored in Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by KEA. Eligible candidates can also get admission in M.Tech through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
In order to seek admission in MCA and MBA, eligible candidates will have to appear in PGCET conducted by KEA. Candidates may also appear in KMAT.
