SJCE Mysore Admission 2027 is open for B.E, M.Tech, MCA and Ph.D. SJCE is Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, started in 1963 in Mysuru. It is now a constituent college of JSS Science and Technology University, or JSS STU. SJCE does not hold its own entrance test for B.E. You get a B.E seat through KCET and KEA counselling, or through COMEDK UGET for the unaided CSE seats. The KEA code is E021 for aided seats and E284 for unaided seats. M.Tech and MCA seats are filled through Karnataka PGCET and KEA counselling. For a Ph.D, you write DPET, the JSS STU entrance test, and then attend an interview. KCET 2027 registration should open on 16 Jan 2027 (tentative, based on last year).
SJCE Mysore B.E Admission 2027
SJCE has 580 B.E seats in nine branches for 2026 to 27. Of these, 520 are aided seats: 60 in each branch and 40 in Polymer Science and Technology. Computer Science and Engineering also has 60 unaided seats, so CSE has 120 seats in all. Your rank and the order of your options decide the branch you get.
SJCE Mysore B.E Eligibility 2027
You need to pass 2nd PUC or Class 12 with Physics and Maths. Your third subject can be Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics. You need 45% in these three subjects together. Karnataka students from SC, ST and the backward groups need 40%. You also need a KCET rank, or a COMEDK UGET rank for a COMEDK seat.

SJCE Mysore Scholarships 2027

SC and ST, family income up to INR 10 Lakhs: Nothing is paid at KEA on a KCET seat; you pay the college part and claim it through the scholarship.
SNQ seats: KEA keeps extra KCET seats for low income families at a lower fee.
State Scholarship Portal: SC, ST, OBC and minority students of Karnataka apply on the SSP every year.
Central schemes: The Central Sector Scheme and the AICTE Pragati and Saksham schemes on the National Scholarship Portal.
Huawei scholarship: INR 50,000 each for 10 students in the second to fourth year, on merit and family income.
