NIE Mysore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From fourth or fifth semester the placement begins to start here. Also students are encouraged to apply for jobs through off campus too and are supported via various programmed. There are about 450+ visiting our campus for placements. Some major companies are JP Morgan ,HPE enterprises , fidelity investments, Mercedes Benz etc. A total of 3100 students have been placed in the last 5 years.

The course I have taken is computer science engineering. So the faculty here are well versed with the course which makes the students to understand the course very well. Even if the the students does not understand there are teacher for clarification.

Overall the course curriculum is good with reduced amount of syllabus as it's an autonomous college . The college provided latest technology course that is AI. They can also improve the teaching with more practical ways I think. Yeah they follow a continuous evaluation schedule where they conduct quiz and tests because of which you are always in touch with syllabus like every month.

Course curriculum is pretty balanced and since I was into coding from my childhood so I decided to choose this course. The curriculum does prepare me well for real world applications or further academic pursuits. There is nothing such field or area that needs to be improved apart from a few teaching methods but ya in labs I feel that teachers should pay more attention towards the students because labs are important. The frequency and timing of exams are good as well and we have tests at periodic intervals and exams too at end of semesters.

There were more than 70% students placed with an average pacakge of 11lpa in CSE, overall the package is around 8-9lacs including all branches. The highest package is around 60lpa and the lowest is around 3lpa. Top recruiters include JP morgan and Mercedes Benz.

Computer science and engineering is at peak curiosity all over the world and NIE offers various courses among them The college curriculum shows all the practical stuff regarding studies and not just theory stuff

I selected the course of CSE as it was my first preference and I got it through the Comedk Ranking cutoff.I selected this course because the world is going towards the computer and it's functioning that is the world is shifting towards technical zone ,so I found I can explore this field.

Choosing [BE] at [NIE] was a deliberate decision. The curriculum's focus on devlopment resonated with my desire to achivement. Curriculum & Teaching: The course structure is well-balanced, offering a mix of theoretical background and practical application. Professors are readily available for consultations and offer personalized guidance. Term Exams & Difficulty: Term exams are generally timely, aligning with the covered material and communicated well in advance Faculty & Student Ratio: The faculty-student ratio of [60 in each section] fosters a positive learning environment.

I chose this because i am interested about technogy and i chose CSE branch as well. Faculty ratio is good, like teachers are very supportive but teachers or professor are mainly from karnataka only.they are highly qualified as much as we can get knowledge from them in a sufficient amount

Our college best known for better Placements in computer science and engineering and in Information science and engineering,our college has highest package of 54 lacks and average of 8 lacs in these courses
