It was not my first time being in hostels because while pursuing my graduation I stayed in Anna University hostels and they were really good. I must say that the BIM hostels were not less than them in any aspect. The infrastructure, environment and facilities all were great and the fee was also reasonable. The food served by the mess consists of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines which one can het as per one's wish or choices.
The campus of BIM, Trichy is comparable to any Top IIM as there were all basic amenities for the students. ATHENAEUM, CRESCITA and the Sports activities of BIM were famous among one and all. With the availabilty of quality content in the library it was a great opportunity for students to enhance their skills and knowledge. The clubs like Optima club and Finclub are also available there along with different academic and non-academic commities.
The annual hostel fee is included in the total fee figure. Wardrobe/almirah, bed, mattress, study table and chair and racks were provided to every individual, while the common amenities included mess, laundry and washrooms, which were all apt.The mess food was charged on an actual basis, with the approximate cost being Rs 70,000 per annum. The food was delicious and salubrious, but it was prone to getting routine. Nonetheless, it was a site for lively discussions great experience and gave us memories which we shall cherish for the rest of our lives.
Crescita's Dextra is the annual management fest of our college. It is organized with a lot of enthusiasm, with a large footfall of participants and sees business stalwarts and extraordinary speakers from the domain of management. The hullabaloo is pleasant and looked forward to by the current students.Various student-run clubs and organizations enabled us to follow our extracurricular interests and to learn useful skills like collaboration, management and competition. It also instills camaraderie between seniors and juniors. The library has a rich collection of books, research, journals and digital resources, which makes it a center for students, researchers and teachers alike. The classrooms are spacious and have an atmosphere suitable for learning.
For someone like me who is staying in hostels for the first time ever the importance of hostel life sky high and I was grateful that BIM doesn't disappoint me in this matter. The hostels were really well built and managed also. Both genders were provided with separate residence facilities and our rooms had almost all our basic requirements within them. The hostel fee was also quite reasonable according to the facilities offered. The mess facility is something I should mention separately as I was very concerned about the food and its quality, but our mess offered both things in the best possible manner
Campus life is something which connects students to any institute as they spend a lot of time there, so it is necessary that the campus life is filled with excitements. At BIM Trichy the campus life was good and the famous events here are CRESCITA, Sports activities and ATHENAEUM . Our library covered almost all content requirements of the students in books and journals. Clubs like Optima club, Finclub, & Star gazers are also available there for the students.

The library has good volumes of Periodicals and books for the students. The clubs like Finclub, Optima club & Star gazers are also available there at BIM.
Village Immersion Programme is unique to BIM Trichy. The institute understands that we need to somehow give back to the nature and society and what?Ûªs better than teaching this value at the beginner?Ûªs level.Whatever be the liking of students in terms of functional areas of management, they can choose any Club among Fin club, Bismarck, Zetetica, BIM Discussions, Optima Club, Economistique, Catalyst, BIM Spirited, Chiaroscuro, etc.
Hostels are always a great place to be at. As they gave us the opportunity to interact and learn from different people. There are separate residencial facilities for both genders. The hostel rooms are well maintained by the staff and have all basic requirements of the students. The food services of our mess were of good quality with the availabilty of delicious food along with good amount of food options.

Our library has books and periodicals covering different management domains.Clubs like finclub, optima club & star gazers are also there for the well-being of students.
The institute provided separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The infrastructure of the hostels was grand and they fulfilled all basic necessities of the students. The rooms were well organised along with attached bathrooms. The food of the mess had a great taste & the menu also had a good range of varieties.
CRESCITA & ATHENAEUM were the major events organised by the institute for its students. The library of the institute was also equipped with quality content in books & journals across different fields. The prominent clubs of the institute were finclub, bismarc, optima club & star gazers.
There are so many events that takes place in our college campus every year. Among these, first one is 'Crescita' which is an intuitive interaction session with VERTICE which is among the global leaders. The second event is 'Dextra' which is an inter-college management fest. Above all, 'Anthanaeum' is a biennial research conference which is also a part of event in BIM. Also, we have friendly environment for studies, well equipped classrooms with modern facilities. Other than events, for more fun and exposure, we have Finclub, Optima Club, Social Interest Club of BIM, 'Chiaroscuro' - a movie club and others. Besides, there are several committees such as sportscom, welfare com, mess com, and Calaicom.
Hostels are a 2 bedroom govt flat. The rooms are okayish. The bathrooms are small and dingy. So is the paint in the rooms. They look like proper govt flats from the 90s. Facilities are basic, but then it is a small chunk in the fees, so it's difficult to complain about it. Messcom has done a great job, as I found the food pretty decent. Though, if you are not from South and a vegetarian then you will face problems adapting.
Like any other MBA, BIM also hosts a string of events all year round both Intra and Inter College. The Intra College events are really fun to take part in. In fact, BIM has now started hosting a full-throttle Management Fest, called Crescita. It also conducts Atheneum. And not to forget the Sports and Cultural events are really fun. The Library is decent but could do with some proper revamp. Classrooms, I feel need improvement. They are structured in a manner where its almost impossible to implement a case pedagogy, which is followed by IIMs and such institutes and its unfortunate because both the faculties and the students are capable. All the clubs are student-run, But when you go into the niti gritties of it, then there is heavy faculty and management involvement. BIM is yet to get its own Audi and labs like Finance Lab with terminals, Data Sc. labs, etc. Hope this happens soon. A lot of students are from South so language and culture is a barrier. Peer politics is prevalent.
It is alloted automatically before the academic session begins and the rooms alloted are fixed for 2 years. It is an old BHEL quarter with each 2 bhk quarter housing 4 students. There is parking facility available and the distance between the hostel and the main campus is around 1 km.
Gender ratio is low with around 75% male students. Diversity is again not encouraging because the college follows tamil nadu state quota for admission. There are around 4 to 5 sports event every where with a large playground adjacent to the hostels and an inter college management fest is conducted every year.
Looking back on November, do you realise you should have revised more, or do you wonder what your parents would think about the final shortlist? Isn't it true that everything right now seems to be reminding you of the shortlist? The worst part is simply not knowing! And, to alleviate your mor

As the BIM Trichy was located in my hometown, I had decided to pursue my MBA programme from here. The institute was very popular for its impeccable placements records, comprehensive curriculum, global exposure, experiential learning experience, international collaborations and partnerships, etc. Admission for the MBA programme is done based on the valid scores in CAT exam followed by the personal interview process.by Sitara
After searching alot about MBA institutes in the state I got to know about BIM from one of my friends and detailed research about the Institute included it into my priorities. The Institute is AICTE approved and It got 76th place for MBA by NIRF in its rankings of the year 2020.
