XLRI has opened XAT 2027 registration on xatonline.in from July 15 2026. The exam will be held on January 3 2027 in computer-based mode. Registration closes on December 6 2026 with a fee of Rs 2300.
Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) has opened XAT 2027 registration at xatonline.in. XLRI Jamshedpur will conduct the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2027. The exam will be a computer-based test of 180 minutes.
XAT is one of India's oldest MBA entrance tests. Over 250 B-schools accept XAT scores for MBA and PGDM admissions. XLRI Jamshedpur uses XAT for its flagship management programmes.

XAT 2027 Registration Fee
The base registration fee for XAT 2027 is Rs 2,300. Applicants to XLRI programmes pay Rs 200 extra per programme. Payment must be made online through the official portal.
Candidates can pay using online modes. These include net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. The registration fee is non-refundable once paid.

XAT 2027 Exam Pattern
XAT 2027 will have 95 questions across four sections. The exam is fully objective and computer-based. There are no sectional time limits within the main block.
Candidates can attempt the first three sections in any order. These three sections share a common 170-minute window. General Knowledge is a separate 10-minute section at the end.

XAT 2027 Marking Scheme
Each correct answer carries 1 mark. Each wrong answer attracts a penalty of 0.25 marks. The first 8 unattempted questions carry no penalty. Each additional unattempted question deducts 0.1 marks.
General Knowledge has no negative marking. GK scores do not affect percentile calculation or cutoffs.
XAT 2027 Test Centres
XAT 2027 will be conducted at over 110 test cities. These centres span across 26 States and Union Territories in India. Candidates can choose their preferred cities during registration.

- Enter personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload photograph, signature, and ID proof.
- Fill programme preferences and test city choices.
- Pay the fee online through the payment gateway.

Day 1 applicants get their first-preferred test city choice. XLRI will confirm the city allotment by August 5, 2026.
