Is CUET mandatory for SSCBS admission 2026?

Yes. CUET UG is the only accepted route for admission to BMS, BBA (FIA), and B.Sc CS at SSCBS. There is no college-level test or direct admission. Candidates must also register on the DU CSAS portal after CUET results are declared.

SSCBS TRUE REVIEW

Likes

Curriculum of the BBA AND BMS course is quite nice.
The clubs and society of the SSCBS is what it is kbown for.
Reputation of the college is of 1st tier.

Dislikes

The attendance criterion of this college is quite strict .
The social life in this college is not what one can get here.
This college does not give weightage to sports life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I had keen interest in finance and stock market areas as I was influenced by many famous personalities like late Mr Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. Next talking about the faculty, it is I think the best in finance category with around 1:2 girls to boys ratio. The exams were conducted quite well and the difficulty level was mediocre.

Societies, the societies of this college are fun loving and you'll have a good college life
Exposure, the college provides a decent and a good exposure to your skills and knowledge
Competition, the competition that each kid faces here makes them hard to stand but enough hard to make them good entrepreneurs and leaders

Nothing as in such just you'll have to experience a snake culture at CBS

I did BSc (H) CS from this college. The faculty here is highly qualified. Almost all did Phd in their respective field. Talking about exams, you have to do a little hard work to get good marks.It's on a semester basis and there will be tests for internal marks

SSCBS - THE TRUTH

Likes

Campus Life - even if it is in off campus, it has a campus life. the students here are intellectual and a lot of learnings are put on here.
Crowd - The crowd here at sscbs is exceptional and thus stand out and competes with the north campus.
Societies - The Socs sscbs has is exceptional, more than 45 societies are there of every domain wheere student get diverse learnings.

Dislikes

Location - If it would have been in some campus, there would have been more growth and exposure opportunities.
Opportunities - The fomo is one of the biggest fear here and I believe that is something should have worked upon
Rigidness - SSCBS is not like other colleges of DU and has strict protocols for attendance

Placement Experience:

From 3rd and 4th semesters they become eligible if they are passing the criteria of attendance and cgpa. Companies that visit are like bcg, bain, le, samagra, raam group, KPMG, PWC, Silver Piston, etc. The highest package this year is 48 LPA by Cred and with an average of 11.1 lpa. more than 93% of students get placed here.

I like the competition which is hungry for all.
The Faculty which is supportive and can help in many ways

Off Campus and less places to visit after the college
Infrastructure feels like I am in hospital or an office which I think can be good or bad.

Placement Experience:

The placements which are offered by our college are amazing and I think that's why are college is so famous and renowned. The average top quartile package is 12lakhs p.a And 91% of CBSite get a job from on-campus placement. Many giants come to our college for the recruitment like Bain, BCG, McKinsey, DeShaw, Nomura and many others and make 200+ offers The highest package was 36 lakhs p.a in 2021 which is the highest in the history of SSCBS.

Infrastructure of this college is very premium compared to the other colleges of Delhi and the neighbouring citie
The placement of this college is very high are compared to other undergraduate colleges in India
College has more than 40 societies out of which 10 + societies are cultural and other societies include all the academic societies

Dislikes

Students here in this college are more focused on academics as compared to other co-curricular activities
The other disadvantage of being in this college is that colleges very far away from the North campus and the south campus as well

Students in the college become eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the course. Companies like Bain & Co., Silver Piston, Everest, etc. Offering job placement for almost all the students of the particular batch with an average package of 6-7 lakhs p.a. Approximately 75% of the students get placed till the end of placement season every year. My personal plan after getting the degree is to pursue MBA or PGDM from a premium college.
