arrey, fees structure is the most important thing which gathers lumps of toppers here. only rs.9500 is collected as tuition fees every year and all the way to scholarship alumni support of GCT is always there to help u. if u get stumbled to pay ur tuition fee or mess fee or hostel fee there are whelming support from GCT alumni also some teachers also support stud education through financial support as well. I got FFE scholarship in my first year itself and it's gonna come till my last year so I just stopped getting financial help from my parents and started giving them financial support:).
As this is a government college, the fee is very minimal that most students can afford. The college fee is Rs.9,500 per year which includes tuition fee, development fee, computer charges and other fees. For economically backward students who cannot afford the fees, many scholarships are also available in college, which will be very useful for students. some of the scholarships which benefit our students are Seimen, FFE, Pragati, community and GCT Alumni scholarship. We can obtain a minimum amount of Rs.5,000 to the maximum amount of Rs.40,000 through the scholarship provided by our college.
Fees structure isn't a matter in this college, a very good college at a low fee, I request to students to join this college for those who don't afford to study private college. I'm damn sure that at a low fee u can't afford these many opportunities. It offers many scholarships, year by year this college affords many scholarships. Scholarship like COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP, etc.
Fee Structure Tution fee 10000 per annum. This is the best thing I like about this college. Students from poor backgrounds can also afford this college. GCT provides many scholarships. Few of them are. Pragati scholarship, community scholarship, FFE scholarship, Alumini scholarship, etc
As already mentioned the fee was around 32k for general category students and then if we want a hostel, overall course duration (4 years), it takes around 100 k and then we need to pay exam fees per year it takes 4.5k. And also many scholarships were provided like government scholarship for BC, MBC, SC, ST etc., and then Alumni Association Scholarship, FFE, etc.
There was scholarship facility offerred in my college. I studied on my parental assistance during the entire period of my course.
Sufficient scholarships were available.Students are advised to open a savings account in SBI GCT branch for availing the scholarship easily.Based on communal reservation students receive scholarships ranging from 7500 for OBC to 16000 for SC/ST.Also we have alumni sponsoring a net amount of 5000 rs per year based on our academic performance which will be deducted from the mess bill.
No iam not opted for scholarships.bit they give other students.main criteria is based on annual income.they give awareness about other scholarships available in NGC also.application is form filled type.
The college provide scholarship for students with grade 85% and above. The procedure is simple and need to fill the form obtained from the college office and submitted with the proof attached in it. The scholarship amount will be credited to students account every year.

I applied for many top colleges in Tamilnadu like PSG, SSN, anna university CEG campus and anna university MIT campus but due to the fees they collect from students, I preferred choosing GCT, Coimbatore. I availed MBC quota in TNEA counselling. my cutoff was 187 and this cutoff remained at the end coz most of the toppers would claim the seat in this college but fortunately I got admission in GCT:) so coming to the admission process, GCT solely gets its freshers through TNEA counselling and for entering TNEA counselling u must have 60% above marks in PCM subjects but for GCT the cutoff must be above 170 for a general category student to get admitted in last preferred batch of the courses ofby Baranidharan G
I have entered this college through TNEA counselling which was conducted in online mode. The minimal cut off for the general category to get cse department in GCT is 188.5 and the minimal cut off varies for different categories. The aspirants must be less than 25 years old. The counselling fee was Rs.500 for the general category. Counselling was conducted in three rounds. Next to the certificate uploading step, the choice filling was done which was a very crucial step in the whole counselling process. Seats are allotted as per your cut off marks. If you are not willing to join the seat allotted by TNEA, you can quit. But you are no more eligible to choose other colleges in the first round. Tby Madhumitha Natarajan
