JEC Jabalpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I decided to choose the civil engineering department because I am very interested in the subject because it helps to modify the infrastructure and design of the site for the modern era of locality with the consult eyes of nature. In a simple language, I have to choose it for the good elegant. And I love it. Students and faculty are average good with each other. Professors are very professional and good at teaching. Motivates for competition exams. Most professors of the Civil engineering department of Jec College are post-graduated from IITs and their teaching method is also good. Semester exams are on time and it is not so difficult to clear it.

There should be at least 8 cgpa for the placements and great skills are also needed. Various companies visit for hiring students according to their grades, personality, skills, and socially active behaviour.

I want to become a software developer so I took this course, I also want like to learn about different computer languages. My faculty is good, they also give me advice about my future. They are friendly too, Our exam is of 2 mid sem and 1 end sem

To be honest, Placement is only for CS, IT, and EC Streams students. Very few companies came for Other Branches Student with Minimal Seats. Students of Other Branches have to look for IT Jobs from off-campus. The average package for 2022 was about 8 LPA, but this is not permanent Students get an average package of 3.5 LPA.

almost 70-80% of students got placed in this course. the highest salary package offered was 19.2lpa. the lowest salary package offered was 4lpa.the average salary package offered ranges between 5-lpa.

Placements are average not that good not that bad. This year a maximum of 32lpa has gone which Disney+hotstar has given. And avg is 7lpa. And if you get in touch with your seniors then you will definitely learn new things.

From the 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement. More than 100 companies visited every year on the college campus. Talking about the package they have offered, Generally, the package lies between 3.6 LPA to 13 LPA. around 60 percent of students got placed through campus placement every year.

Placements hold a marvellous record. Even a book named "The Golden Book of JEC" is run and published by JEC students holding records and achievements of notable alumni of JEC. The highest package was 50 lakhs whereas the mode is about 3 lakhs. Average lies between 4-6 lakhs. I have planned to either try for on or off-campus placement but in case I don't get a satisfactory one then I would do some short-term courses from either Pune or Bangalore

The placement is quite bad here. Only 30% of the total students get placed here mainly in IT sector branches with an average of 4 lakh per annum. The students mostly plan for clearing the gate examination or any government exam. We get ample time for the preparation of these exams.

From 6 semesters students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited in our college are tech fire, google, Microsoft, etc. Above 7.5 sgpa gets placements easily. My plan after getting a degree is to enjoy life.
