JEC Jabalpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course and the curriculum of the college is best. It was conduct the exam on time to time every thing is good about, but the course syllabus they provide is old they should do changes according to iitis.

The placements are not exceptional and haven't been so for the last couple years due to recession. But that's not saying that students don't crack them. Infosys and TCS are mass recruiters among others. Placements are mainly for final students only. Students are required to maintain a certain cgpa and the details of packages aren't available yet.

The curriculum course covers concepts likes machine learning, deep language,natural language,computer vision and robotics . The curriculum emphasize practical application through project and real world case studies . Area for improvement are such as focus on soft skills , data management and visualisation, cloud platforms

Placements are also fair in the college but from recent 2-3 years due to recession the number of companies reaching college has deduced but still some companies approach the college for placement. Students are eligible after 7th semester to get into placement

Placements rates of Jabalpur Engineering College has been decreased and some company are coming to hire the students at average package of 3.5 lac per annum. On campus highest package is 13 lac per annum and off campus is 52 lac per annum.

The curriculum is alright. There are a lot of subjects which are too old for the present times. And they don't have the modern day subjects like BlockChain and data analytics, I think the course and curriculum should be revised according to the present times

after 6th sem students become eligible for placements but TPO was not capable of bringing decent companies in the year 2024. Companies visited in which EC branch was allowed to sit were Reliance, Ingenx, Coriolisis, Appalto, and 2,3 more, each giving an average package of 3.3 LPA except Reliance whose package was 8.5 LPA but only 2 students were selected in it.

From 7th sem the students are eligible for campus placements. Companies that visited the college were Wipro, HCL, TCS,Infosys and many more. Highest package of last year was of 32 lakhs that was offered off campus to one of the student and lowest was 2lakhs Almost 85 percent students were placed .

Placement is good but not sufficient for all students to grab. Student can apply for 3 years with the permission from its department hod. Companies like TCS, tata, Wipro, HCl, lnt, and many others. About 40 % students can get placement through college.

From the end of 7th semester stundents become eligible for campus placement There are a lot of options for campus placements companics like Tcs , infosys , for civil students larsen and toubro paid a visit last year , Tech mahindra The average package on a honest view of mine is around 4 lac per annum Around 40 to 50 percent students get placed , of course depending upon the number of students applying for a particular company based on your skill level My plans after getting the Bachelor's degree is to go for a masters degree in tech to get a little more assurance for jobs in future
