The magic of LSR

Placement -

For Journalism it is very very bad. No placement at all. They are more focused on commerce department to be get placed. Those who want job most of the time have to skip their main stream. So, Most of the journalism students have dark future if dependent on LSR placement cell.

Internship -

Yes, LSR actually provides creative and apt internships. Stipend- many companies do provide daily travel convince. few only provide stipend , Overall - LSR always try to put each and every student ion Cinderella's shoes.

Best one yet

Placement -

i am not very sure about how the process goes. But we have a placement cell functioning in college through out the year. Students are usually judged on how well they do in their exams and recommendations from teachers are very helpful. Two of my seniors were recently selected by a company with a 18lac annual salary package. So overall the placement is good.

Internship -

Yes, there are several internship opportunities provided to the students. We have a placement cell in college. They function throughout the year. They maintain a list of the mail ids of students and internship offer mails are sent to everyone. Different departments are provided different internships according to their course. For example, since i am student in the english department, internships considering writing or such are provided. Some internships usually have a monthly stipend, it may vary from 2000-15000.

Look back book

Placement -

The Placement opportunity is very good and the Placement cell tries to cater all departments. However most companies like Bank OF America or Tower Watson or JSW or Mc kinsey hire only commerce students and those studying humanities try for placements outside college.

Internship -

Yes the college provides many internship opportunities which are primarily for content writing and digital marketing.

An enriching experience

Placement -

There are quite a few good and multinational companies who visit our campus. From my department, no one has been placed yet since the companies that came were looking for a commerce or economics background. The average package was around 3L. We have another placement season in February/March.

Internship -

Yes, we receive quite some internships from college. Most of the companies are start ups with very low stipends.

A mail regarding the internship opportunities by various companies is sent to all the students by the union. There are exchange programs also to which everybody can apply. Most of the internship opport unities deal with business development, content writing, marketing etc and are unpaid.

Placement -

Same as the above. English graduates mostly go for further studies.. So they don't sit for placements. but students who are interested get decent jobs. people from different courses get high offer packages

Treadmill - It's all about going back and starting again. College life is full of unexpected things, from having no identity to the hell competitive environment of establishing identity again, it's all about ups and down, going back and forth.

Placement -

Placements and job opportunities in LSR are usually at peak. But psychology department generally don't have good placements to offer, as limited companies use to come, and most placement opportunities are for economics and commerce departments. Maximum placement of this year is about 25 lakhs so the kind of exposure here is surpass amazing.

Internship -

Yes, College provides a lot of internship opportunities, Most of them are unpaid. The kind of experience from full time internships are the best, general stipend varies from 5k and above.
