The placement cell does a wonderful job by providing ample of internship opportunities with companies like UdyamGyan which offers live projects and job opportunities. Not only this it plays a pivotal role in getting students placed in companies like McKinsey, Deloitte, EY etc.
From the 2nd year students are eligible for the placement. The companies like Deloitte, American express, byju's visited and provide 25-30 number of offers on an average made. The A grade company provides highest package like Rs.1,50,000 and more and B grade company provides average package according to skill. Skills matter more then percentage but students have to score better in the respective subject which is required for the placement. I'll pursue MBA after my graduation.
Delhi University has the top colleges for Arts. Being an Arts student it's obvious that I wanna get into a good college so that I can do my Master's in better universities. My college 'Lady Shri Ram' is ranked second in this year 2020(NIRF Ranking). That's the reason I choose to go to DU.
They are good. There are some many companies that come to recruit our products because of the standards. Bank of America, McKinsey, BCG, Bloomberg etc are some of the companies. Last year BOA offered 37.8 lakh job to our senior.
It was a gut feeling, when it comes to choosing colleges always think about what you feel from within because your gut will always know which way to go. I was going to study abroad but here I am. So just give yourself a go.
The placement and job opportunities are great for some courses and not so good for others. I really don’t know what else to say, the placements that are offered to you come from a particular background and for a particular course so you won’t really get anything out of it if your course isn’t very very academic
It's one of the best run institutions in the University.
I opted for History as my first preference for graduation and Lady Shri Ram College was the first choice because of its all India ranking at the time. The admission process was very smooth with volunteers, teachers and support staff helping in every possible way. Everything is to be done by the student herself and parents can sit comfortably in the auditorium while the formalities are systematically done.
The facilities given are quite satisfactory. The Wi-Fi system is good and secured. Different rooms for different purposes are there. There are two libraries to access the reading material. There are two buildings which are highly maintained. The hostel is also good. But it is only for 1st-year students.
In my course, the faculty is quite good. The teachers are friendly and listen to the students patiently. The learning is made interactive and interesting by the teachers. Groups are made for better understanding and clearing of doubts. This increase the one to one conversation between the students and the teacher making a better bond.
The management and administration is supportive too.
I had 97 percent in my 12th standard thus I met the eligibility criteria for being admitted into LSR as its cut off go higher because of its eminence in Delhi University. I opted English Honours because LSR ranks 01 in the entire country in Arts and I had heard that the faculty of English literature is amazing besides my interest in the subject. Literature had been favourite and LSR was a beginner to step into the journey. I was admitted to the college through admission procedure in June 2018 after the first cut off list came on 19th June. I went to college on 21st and it took half a day for the admission to be done as I had to complete several formalities. The process was smooth as it was d...
It's one of the best government colleges jn the country. It's affordable and the quality of education is amazing. You get to interact with the best minds of the country. It is a space where you learn and grow with every passing day.
The job opportunities are really nice for people who have commerce and economics. The job opportunities are also very good if you become a part of a Society in college. But, otherwise placements are not very high.
LSR is the best college for Economics in the country owing to its fantastic faculty and alumni. The college not only improves you academically but also helps in scaling your skill set like communication skills, presentation skills, creativity, etc through the various competitions which are organized in the college. The atmosphere in the college is very empowering and focus - driven which ensures a holistic transformation of a student.
LSR being a tier - 1 college gets a visit from almost every famed company, including Mckinsey, Bains, BCG, etc. The placement is really good and well - coordinated. Through their hard work they not only ensure that the best comapnies come to college but they also strive to provide the internship offers from best companies (example: EY, PwC, HUL, etc).
My first choice was Psychology Hons, and the best college for psychology in DU is supposed to be LSR. But the cutoff for psych was 98.75%, and I failed to score that much. I cleared the cutoff for English at LSR however, and since it was my second choice, I chose that.
No idea. Genuinely I don’t know. Uh how am I supposed to fill 200 characters about something I don’t know at all? Um one of my seniors got a job at a great company, she’s pursuing Economics, and so I guess economics offers great placements I guess
