Insight into India's top HM college

Fees -

IHM Mumbai is a government college and hence the fee structure is very nominal and includes lunch in the college as well. These provisions for hostel and mess facilities for both NRIs and general student and these are also provided at a very reasonable rate.

Course Curriculum -

Through the three years, you will be trained completely on the four main departments in the hotel industry, namely, Front Office, Food&Beverage service, Accommodation Operations and Food Production. Every semester there are other subjects as well which include nutrition, Food Science, Communication, Hotel Accounting, Facility Planning, Strategic Management and so on. Since IHM is affiliated to IGNOU there are few subjects like Tourism studies, Human resources, Marketing and so on. Your second year will have a semester of Industrial training and in the third year, you will be required to do a research on a topic of your choice.

Best IHM in India

Fees -

As this is a Government approved college, hence the fees should not be a problem for most of the students and the college also provides a concession for different caste students. Mumbai is expensive for some and cheap for some, you will just need to adapt according to your expenses and lifestyle

Course Curriculum -

The Course focuses more on practical learning rather than theoretical knowledge but ensures to keep it balanced. When it comes to curriculum, IHM MUMBAI is one of the top institutes you can study in India. Study pressure is negligible if you work hard throughout the semester.

Amazing only if you are interested!

Fees -

Fee structure is feasible. It's about 60-70k per sem. & YOU DONT GET HOSTEL FACILITY IN THE FIRST YEAR. So it can be a little expensive in the first year staying in rent that too in Mumbai. You get hostel only in 2nd & 3rd year. For NRI students you get hostel facility in the first year. I don't know if the girls get hostel in the first ear itself or not(PLEASE do some enquiry)

Course Curriculum -

It's basically a three year bsc course in which you will be taught about the basic 4 core departments of a hotel namely Housekeeping, food&beverage, food production & front office. Apart from this you have 2-3 extra subject each semester that are pretty boring but difficult at the same time such as financial management, food science, facility planning, hotel engineering and many more. It's not like you will be cooking the whole week(college runs 5 days a week

The best there is!

Fees -

The fee structure is very cheap and can be paid in installments on requesting the management. Proper bills and receipts are made available for the fees too. No extra costs are incurred after the fees is paid other then your equipment and linen. As it is a government college is has a very low fees structure and different parts of the course are all inclusive. The afternoon lunch is included in this fees too

Course Curriculum -

We have been given notes (printed) that we are expected to study from for the examination and the faculty too gives us written important notes in written form in the class rooms. The curriculum is very vast but worth every bit and you wouldn't ever feel left out in the hotel industry This course not only teaches you about food production but the entire hotel industry is covered

Fees -

The college ask for the minimum fees they could ask for including all the uniforms and lunch this is very affordable and apart from it that you can also get concessions. Approximately it comes out to be 35 000 per semester but the living expenses in dadar are on the higher scale and yes the books and all you need to buy on your own accordingly and if you go for the hostel then yes the cost will be more.

Course Curriculum -

The college takes care of all the basic skills that you need for the industry and trains you very well with all the practical and theory classes .the teachers are very well experience done in their particular fields and know their subjects very well.

IHM mumbai the best college for hotel management.

Fees -

As this a government college so it si a bit cheaper than other colleges and gives great education also.

Course Curriculum -

All the subjects that are thought to us in the college are required for a good concept building of the course. we study all the subjects that are part of the curriculum and that are required in the hotel management field. we have to study all the subjects for all the 3 years. They make us study all the subjects so that we become all rounders and can choose any field ahead in this line without any worries.
