Eligibility Criteria
- Passed Class 10 (SSC) or equivalent from a recognized board with minimum 35% aggregate marks.
- Mathematics and General Science must have been studied at the SSC level.
- Minimum age: 15 years as on the date of admission.
- Lateral Entry: completed a 2-year ITI course after SSC, or passed HSC with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Admission Process
- Register on the DTE Maharashtra polytechnic portal at poly26.dtemaharashtra.gov.in with SSC documents.
- Merit is determined solely by SSC aggregate percentage and no entrance exam is conducted.
- After merit list publication, fill the option form with branch and college preferences.
- Seats are allotted across 4 CAP rounds in descending merit order.
- Report to VJTI with original documents within the allotted reporting window.
- Vacant seats after Round 4 are offered at spot admission rounds.
