Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute offers a full-time lateral entry into year 2 of its three-year engineering diploma. VJTI Lateral Entry Diploma Eligibility
You need 35% in HSC Science, or in HSC with a vocational or technical subject. A two-year ITI course after Class 10 also works. HSC and ITI students sit on separate merit lists. Every branch uses the same rule, and there is no entrance exam.

The steps are registration, the merit list, four CAP rounds, reporting and the VJTI vacancy rounds. You fill a branch order in each round. The state gives you the highest branch on your list that your merit number clears. You accept the seat online and then report at VJTI with your originals.
