IMNU MBA Admission Dates 2027

IMNU MBA admission for the 2027-29 batch runs on CAT 2026 scores. Registration for CAT 2026 closed on September 15, 2026. IMNU-specific dates below are tentative and based on the prior year pattern.

IMNU BBA-MBA Integrated Admission Dates 2027

The 5-year BBA-MBA programme uses IPMAT 2027 conducted by IIM Indore. IPMAT 2027 dates are tentative and based on the IPMAT 2026 cycle pattern.

IMNU Courses and Fees

IMNU offers four MBA specialisation tracks, BBA Hons., two 5-year integrated programmes, a PhD, and three Executive Diploma programmes. The fee table below reflects the 2026-27 approved fee structure. All fees are subject to revision.

The MBA (Global Management) tuition of INR 9,90,000 per year is INR 3,50,000 higher than the standard MBA tuition of INR 6,40,000, a premium reflecting the US dual-degree partnership. The Family Business and Entrepreneurship track is the most affordable MBA option at INR 11,88,000 total.

IMNU Admission Process

IMNU MBA admission is a three-stage process. The minimum CAT cutoff for General category shortlisting is 81 percentile. The final composite score is calculated as: CAT 60% + Personal Interview 20% + TDP 10% + Academics 10%. Candidates with relevant full-time work experience receive 10 bonus points over and above the composite score.

• Stage 1. CAT Shortlisting: Minimum 81 percentile for the General category. Academic performance across Class X, Class XII, and pre-final graduation marks is factored alongside the CAT score.
• Stage 2. TDP and Personal Interview: The Theme Development and Presentation (TDP) round, unique to IMNU among major B-schools, is followed by a Personal Interview at the Ahmedabad campus. The TDP requires preparation beyond standard PI coaching.
• Stage 3. Merit List: Final ranking on the composite score. Admission offers are released in late February 2027 for the 2027-29 batch.

Of the 300 general MBA seats, 75 are reserved for Gujarat domicile candidates and 45 are under the NRI Sponsored category. GMAT scores from July 2024 onwards are accepted for NRI, OCI, PIO, and Foreign National applicants. No management quota exists at IMNU. Application fee is INR 1,500 for General and Gujarat State categories and INR 4,500 for NRI category.

For the BBA-MBA 5-year programme, Class 12 marks carry 70% weightage for Gujarat State category candidates and 20% for All India candidates. IPMAT score carries 50% for All India applicants. Minimum Class 12 marks are 60% (All India) and 90% (Gujarat State).

IMNU Placements

The 2024-25 MBA placement season at IMNU achieved 100% placement for the batch. The highest CTC was INR 70 LPA and the average CTC was INR 11.10 LPA. The median CTC was INR 10.61 LPA. Average CTC for the top 50 students was INR 17.08 LPA and for the top 100 was INR 14.74 LPA. More than 85 companies participated in the placement process.

Finance and BFSI roles dominated the 2024-25 batch. Key BFSI recruiters included Morgan Stanley, BNY Mellon, Arcesium, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, CRISIL, and Motilal Oswal. Marketing and operations profiles were filled by ITC, Havells, Reliance, Adani Wilmar, Tata AIG, and Zydus Life. Consulting and IT roles came from Deloitte, KPMG, Capgemini, Infosys, and Wipro. IMNU has standing linkages with over 300 companies that regularly conduct campus recruitment.

IMNU Rankings

IMNU is ranked 53rd in NIRF Management 2025, an improvement from 55th in 2024. The institute has appeared in the NIRF top 55 management schools for three consecutive years. In regional and private-college rankings, IMNU is consistently placed among the top 25 private B-schools nationally.

At the accreditation level, IMNU holds NAAC A+ at the university level (2022), SAQS accreditation valid till 2029, and NBA re-accreditation for the MBA programme. The institute is an AACSB member, benchmarking quality standards with leading global business schools.

IMNU Scholarships

IMNU disburses INR 1.5 crore annually in scholarships across merit and merit-cum-means categories. All awards are purely merit-based and renewed annually. Renewal requires a CGPA of 7.0 or above with all papers cleared in the first attempt.

IMNU Campus and Infrastructure

IMNU is part of the Nirma University campus on S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad. The 115-acre campus is IGBC Gold-certified and fully residential, with separate hostel accommodation for male and female students.

The Institute building is centrally air-conditioned and provides tiered classrooms, a dedicated trading room for finance courses, a behaviour lab, a communication lab, flat multimedia-equipped classrooms, an auditorium, a computer centre, an art gallery, faculty and administrative blocks, and a fully automated library. Conference rooms and guest rooms are also available on campus.

Sports facilities include a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, table tennis, gymnasium, swimming pool, and yoga centre. The campus has a cafeteria, banks and ATMs, and on-campus healthcare. Bus transport connects the campus to key points on the S.G. Highway corridor in Ahmedabad.

IMNU vs FORE School of Management vs KJ Somaiya Institute of Management

Aspirants shortlisted at the 80 to 88 CAT percentile range who are considering IMNU typically compare it with FORE School of Management, New Delhi and KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai. All three use CAT as their primary admission gateway and compete in the same national tier of management education.

IMNU has the lowest total programme fee among these three at INR 13,32,000 for 2 years. FORE Delhi’s higher average CTC of INR 16.8 LPA reflects a stronger NCR and BFSI recruiter base. KJ Somaiya Mumbai draws applicants with its location advantage and the widest range of accepted admission tests. IMNU’s Gujarat domicile quota of 75 seats is a structural advantage not available at either peer, and the institute’s IGBC Gold-certified residential campus in Ahmedabad offers a built-in living experience for out-of-state students.
