KCG College of Technology Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 7th semester the students are eligible to get placements and the companies that visited our college are Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest package is more than 20 lakhs and the lowest package is 3.5 lakhs.

The placements will come into action after the 3rd year of the course the companies like amazon, Ashok Leyland, axis bank, CGI and etc. Will offer their job for the students who are deserved this as an average of 200000 / annum was offered by amazon for the students. 80-90 % of the students get paid on campus.

Right from the 6th semester, the students will be getting their placement offers. I guess none of the top-tier companies visited our college. Companies like Zoho, Wipro, Infosys, and HCL visited for placements. Last year they have mentioned that the placement percentage was 94%.

2 unit tests and 1 model practical will be in each semester before the main exam. They will cover the portions accordingly and make you study well. ECE is one of the best courses in kcg you can find more opportunities. Faculty members are well and good. They teach and clear our doubts dedicatedly.

There are so many companies coming every year for placements and now placements for every department are good & Placements for CSE is excellent, when it comes to Package 4.2LPA is Average with a peak of 12LPA for CSE Placements & Zoho like Companies are offering 8LPA for On-Campus Placement.

I think the Faculty members are very friendly and they're super knowledgeable. I did some research and projects with my mentors for international competitions and I'm grateful that they have been so supportive of me. We have also applied for research publications and patents as well. The College is affiliated with Anna University, so if you ask me it's a recognized curriculum followed and since it's NBA accredited as well, the Computer Science degree is recognized in colleges abroad as well if you plan on going for Higher education.

On account of placement, the college provides a decent placement rate of 96%. Students if they have the necessary skills can be placed even in the second year itself. They provide many internship opportunities and getting placed won't be that much problem in this college.

The internships start from the second year, the college focuses on improving the skills of a student to meet the needs of industries and using their talents in the right way .The placements starts from third year.

Traditional campus placement methods begin in the middle of the 6th semester. However, we get training from the first year. I also know students who even got internship opportunities from software companies even in their second year. Mostly, software companies visit the campus a lot when compared to core companies. But these days, core companies' visits to our campus have also increased, and we have signed MoUs with many core and software companies. Annually, more than 90% of the students get placed and the average package is around 3.5 LPA.

As long as the student doesn't keep any arrears he or she is good to go for placements. Placements start from 3rd year itself. Companies like Capgemini, Infosys, Zoho and 20 other companies. 4 to 10 lpa is the average and 16 being the highest this year.
