Remarks

After your 12th grade, you will have a hard time choosing a college and especially which field you want to get into. For me, I didn't decide what I wanted to go into until the last moment. I finally chose Computer Science because it was the hottest field in the market right at the moment and for the future to come. I wanted to get a lot of good exposure and get involved with club activities, projects, cultures and sports, all apart from academics and that's where I found KCG. It's like a student-friendly environment that may lay the stage for you to go up there and perform well in life.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the Faculty members are very friendly and they're super knowledgeable. I did some research and projects with my mentors for international competitions and I'm grateful that they have been so supportive of me. We have also applied for research publications and patents as well. The College is affiliated with Anna University, so if you ask me it's a recognized curriculum followed and since it's NBA accredited as well, the Computer Science degree is recognized in colleges abroad as well if you plan on going for Higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a lot of financial aid present for students who need it. There are a lot of scholarships in sports and other categories. Multiple students are attending college on the aid provided. It's pretty affordable compared to colleges like SRM, and VIT where a similar curriculum is taught.

Campus Life

The Campus Life at KCG is amazing. We have a lot of fun during cultural, trips and events conducted. We often have club activities that are conducted once a week. They range from Horse riding to AR/VR technology. The place is so green, in fact, a lot of movies were shot at our college because of its natural beauty. There's also a lake nearby, so we get a lot of fresh breezes whenever we are out of class and on Campus.

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
