DSCE Bangalore Admission 2027 is open for BE, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and Ph.D. DSCE is Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering at Kumaraswamy Layout in Bengaluru. It started in 1979 and is an autonomous college affiliated to VTU. BE seats are filled through KCET and KEA counselling, through COMEDK UGET and COMEDK counselling, or as management seats. M.Tech, MBA and MCA seats are filled through Karnataka PGCET and KEA counselling, or as management seats. For 2026 to 27, a KCET student paid INR 1,20,320 at KEA and INR 20,000 at DSCE. A management seat in Computer Science Engineering cost INR 6 Lakhs a year. KCET 2027 registration should open on 16 Jan 2027 (tentative, based on last year).
DSCE Bangalore BE Admission 2027
DSCE lists 19 BE branches on its website, from Aeronautical Engineering to Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. NIRF data shows 1,980 BE seats a year for the 2024 to 25 batch. DSCE has not printed the seats in each branch. As a VTU college, DSCE gives 45% of seats to KCET, 30% to COMEDK and 25% to management and NRI students. Your rank and the order of your options decide your branch.
DSCE Bangalore BE Eligibility 2027
You need to pass 2nd PUC or Class 12 with Physics and Maths, and English as one of your languages. You need 45% in Physics, Maths and one of Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics. Karnataka SC, ST and backward class students need 40%. For a management seat, the 2026 notice asks for 70% in Maths and Science in Class 10. It also asks for 65% in Maths and Physics in your Class 12 pre board exam.

Your first year fee depends on how you got the seat. On a KCET seat, you paid INR 1,20,320 at KEA for 2026 to 27. At DSCE, you then paid a skill lab fee of INR 20,000. On a COMEDK seat, you paid INR 3,22,000 at COMEDK and INR 32,320 at DSCE. Students from outside Karnataka paid INR 1,800 more at DSCE. DSCE has research centres recognised by VTU, so you can do a Ph.D here and VTU gives the degree. The fellowship notice listed 18 departments, from Aeronautical Engineering to MBA and MCA. Full time scholars can apply for the DSCE Doctoral Fellowship of INR 25,000 a month for three years.

I'm not so sure about that. Back when I was applying, you needed to have a rank below 6,000 to get into the ECE course. You might have better luck trying for other branches at Dayananda Sagar, but probably not at the main campus. There are also shift courses available, and those are considered just as good as the regular ones. So, if you manage to get into one of those, it's the same as being in the main branch. With a rank above 10000, it is difficult to get the CSE or ISE branch at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. According to the recent cutoff trends for DSCE, the required cutoff for CSE was 3905.
