Fees at the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi, for the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program are designed to be affordable and vary slightly depending on the year of study. The annual fee for the first year ranges around Rs. 4,500 to Rs. 8,500, inclusive of tuition, registration, and study materials. In the second and third years, fees may increase modestly, reaching about Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 12,000. Study materials and exam fees are typically included, with no extra charges for these essentials.
Although scholarships are available, they are mostly targeted at economically weaker sections and reserved categories, such as SC, ST, and OBC. No specific scholarships are mentioned for general category students. There are no additional lab fees or development charges typically incurred in regular colleges. Financial assistance is provided mainly for students below the poverty line or with proof of economic hardship. This cost-effective fee structure makes the B.Com program at DU SOL an attractive option for students seeking flexibility and affordability in higher education.
