Hostel Life is very good and offering various facilities like swimming pool, gym, etc.
Faculties and classrooms are very good and excellent.

Dislikes

College should clear more about the reservation process.

MDI Murshidabad Holistic Review

Likes

Events - there are various events organised by our colleges
Library- Almost every book and journal is available
Faculty support is there for the students everytime we need

Dislikes

Management - The management lf the campus is not well
Outside college life is not good because college is in rural area
Attendance system is there you can't miss more than 3 class out of 20 you will get one grade drop after that

Placement Experience:

In vth sem students become eligible for placements 60 companies visited the campus including ICICI bank, Axis Banks, Airtel, Droom etc. Highest package is at 27 lakhs till now Average is 12.5 lakh 100% students get placements. My plan after the degree is join the company which is provided by our college and then work on myself to reach hogher position

Reality of MDI Murshidabad

Likes

The adminstration really respects every person's sentiments and help us to celebrate different ethnic events
The environment is pretty good, we can also take some break from. Academics and go for nearby trips.
Talking about the ROI it was pretty good.

Dislikes

Almost 60% of students belong to West Bengal only.
Transportation services are quite not well.
Good faculty members don't stay for long span.

Placement Experience:

Talking about placements, we have 100% placements record, but in the year 2024, due to market conditions we are facing some problems. Although average package was around 12LPA and talking about average stipend, it was around 40k.

One of the things which I liked about this college is the exposure which I am getting.
One of the things which I liked about this college is the knowledge I am getting from the faculty members.
One of the things which I liked about this college is that students are very friendly and cooperative.

Dislikes

One of the things which I disliked is that there could be more scope for skill development.
One of the things which I disliked is that there could be meals served. It is good but could be better.
One of the things which I disliked about the college is the location.

Placement Experience:

From Trimester 4 students become eligible for Campus Placement. Various companies like TATA AIG,VE COMMERCIAL,INFOSYS,TCS,COGNIZANT,DABUR,ICICI BANK,LAKME,FITJEE etc. visited our campus and till now a total of 150 offers were being made. Highest package offered is 20LPA and the average package is 12.5 LPA. 100 percentage To join any consulting firm and work there.

I like the rural exposure of this place .
I like the exposure of various industries located in nearby areas.
I like the peer over here, got to learn from them..

Dislikes

Somewhat exposure is not that great as the college is located in outskirts.
Some subjects are taken online rather they should be taught offline.
The management of our college is not that much good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent enough, few people opt out of the placements because they want to start something of their own, rest our placement committee is working very hard to get all the students placed .

Life at MDI-M

Likes

Green lush campus. There are numerous of plants.
Each hostel room has their own balcony. So everyone gets sunlight.
Classroom are pretty cool. Case studies are provided.

Dislikes

Sometimes the cleanliness of common washroom. Although it has nothing to do with college, as they are cleansed every morning.
Small campus, very limited sports. Only badminton, volleyball, cricket and football as a sports are available.

Placement Experience:

We have trimester. So students can sit for placement after 3rd semester. Various companies like TATA AIG, ICICI BANK, AXIS BANK and other big names. Over 50 companies visit our campus. Everyone gets placed by the month of January To do the job

The diverse peer groups and netwroking oppourtunities across India
The clubs and committees and the exposure it brings in

Dislikes

The location is a little remote, so the social life outside campus is limited.

Placement Experience:

The first year students are provided opportunities for the Summer Internship Process and the second year revolves around the final placements. More than 50+ companies visit for placements each year with TATA AIG, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, TATA Steel and other being major recruiters. 100% students are placed. Average package ranges upto 12 lpa.

Likes

The personal room facility given to students to maintain there personal space .
Library is also very good. You can borrow any book you want to . Also it has Bloomberg facility as well.
Gym and swimming pool, it helps to keep you fit .

Dislikes

The location of our college, it is very far from main city.
The timings of going out and coming back in the campus

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is also good . The best thing is the ROI which it offers, the average package is around 12.5 lakhs , and the highest package offered till now is 15 lakh per year . As soon as the curriculum starts companies start visiting our college and if you are selected in any company than you are feezed and cannot sit for any other companies.

Diverse community, active clubs & events, opportunities for social interaction and personal growth.
Well-equipped classrooms, library, sports facilities, comfortable hostels. Industry-Focused Curriculum: Practical learning approach, case studies, guest lectures, internships.

Dislikes

The campus is situated away from the city center, which might limit access to certain amenities and conveniences.
Transport facility is also very limited to the campus. Nearest airport is around 250 km away.
