- College campus is very big and it provide the students a calm and environment friendly atmosphere.The infrastructure of our college Is amazing.
- There are somany technical clubs are working in CET .And the students got much exposure through this club activities and all.
- Our college has two biggest fests in south india.DWANI the biggest cultural fest in south india,and for a technical college there should be a technical fest we have one called DRISHTI . Students got opportunity to manage a huge fest .
Dislikes
- We are technical college students,but in CET the cultural fest have more importance than our technical fest.
- There is a huge amount is deposited as PTA fund for years they never use this fund for a proper maintenance and to fulfill the needs of students.
- College management is good actually because of they conduct meetings including students before taking a decision regarding any issue or new idea implementation.

Placement Experience:
From sixth semester onwards the students are eligible for attending placements.The students who were in fifth semester has opportunity to getting internships . CATERPILLAR,SHOBHA CONSTRUCTIONS, ASHOK LEYLAND and some more companies are already came for placements in mechanical. Approximately a 40%and above students got placements in last year .So we waiting for 50% students got placed in this year.

- The college has a cultural events like dhwani in which students can perform there skills.
- The college also has a technical event dhristi in which students exhibits there technical projects
- The college completely raging free and the faculties are also very supportive
Dislikes
- The lab facilities at certain departments still uses old machines.
- The old habit of writing lengthy records are present
Placement Experience:
The placements offered by the college is good. The average package is around 5LPA and so many core and non core companies will come for recruitment. The company's that came this year are Caterpillar, Ashoke Leyland, Shobha constructions, Cynlr etc. On an average of 50% of students get placed

- The college and the ambience is perfect for studies.The faculties are very friendly and approachable.
- Cultural and technical programs conducted in the college is a main attraction.
- Especially in architecture they provide a lot of study trips and stationary for work from the college itself unlike other architecture colleges
Dislikes
- The water and toilet facilities are a bit of a problem.
- Not all the students get accommodation in college hostel which is a major problem
Placement Experience:
In architecture the placements are very low compared to other engineering branches in the college. But still they got placement and students get placed every year in top architecture firms in India . Percentage of students getting placed is very low

- Good teacers and infrastructure facilities and Internship provide by teachers
- Good lab facility workshops better library and ladies amenity center

- All department have no drinking facility
- College duration 9 to 4 is very heavy for all students
- Infrastructure is not good in every department
Course Curriculum Overview:
My department is civil engineering i like this course and I highly work for this admission
I like the workshop lab and teachers also.
All labs have all the facilities and good Infrastructure and the lab assistant present there will help us every time

- It's one of the most reputed engineering colleges in Kerala and our college admission is the toughest one to get.They offer many placement drives.
- Beautiful campus surrounded by many an ecosystem consisting trees ,flowers,birds etc ,it's a relaxing space for many ones.
- Good infrastructure compared to many colleges,there are indoors,workshops,gym facility, outdoor gym facility,drinking water, best classrooms with projector and speakers,library, ladies amenity center and so on.
Dislikes
- There are many dogs in here ,not they are attackable but at sometimes they had larger number.
- Infrastructure average at some departments
- Drinking water may be unavailable at sometimes
Placement Experience:
Placements are highly offered here and it is one of the attractive features here. Many companies recruit here every year and take many students offering a high lpa. many companies like TCS,Texas, Accenture,09 solutions etc hire students from every department.

- The College of Engineering, Trivandrum being one of the oldest engineering college is quite prestigious. The pride that comes along with studying in the college and being called a CETian is quite high. It was one of my best choice in life..........
- The Campus is quite inviting and beautiful. The greenery of this college is one of my favorite things. The college is so clean and neat. The infrastructure of the college, the campus amenities, the libraries, everything is of top tier quality
- the exposure and oppurtunities one get to experience from this college cannot be compared. This place helped me improve my communication skills and problem solving skills. The cultural and technical fests are one of the most eye catching features.
Dislikes
- The curriculum and syllabus is so very outdated and requires immediate updation.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is a bit outdated as the technology is updating but the syllabus isn't. The lab facilities are excellent, and it would have been better if the syllabus included more practicals. The frequency of exams is quite often. There will be two series exams of forty marks each, two or more assignments, and a semester exam every semester. The difficulty level can be from low to medium.

- Good infrastructure in 200 acre land with wide variety of trees and plants
- Good placement offers from famous companies like l and t, Benz, bmw etc
- Big playground with floodlight along with tennis court and basketball court.
Dislikes
- Political party is a huge negative in our college.
- Around 10 percent of the working days are left due to strike
- Some of the teachers are not that dedicated.
Placement Experience:
This institution provides the best placement offers in Kerala and many students from different colleges come to our college to get placement as our college allowes them to participate in this. The average placement offers is 6 lakh per annum

- Teaching staff is much experienced. They also provide good presentation which makes the studying much easier.
- The social life in college is too good. It will help to shape your perspective about your life.
- The Seminar halls available are good. They are air conditioned and also have good facilities for presentation.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of some departments are too old.
- College doesn't give much importance to the areas like music.
- The facilities for sports are there. But not at all developed.
Placement Experience:
Our college have a special placement assist cell. So we get placement opportunities from a number of MNCs. You also get job opportunities from top tier companies. In computer science course almost 99% of the student getss placement.

- Number one institute in kerala. Best environment for studies. Good facilities.
- Different clubs. Various sports activities.
- Best faculties. Near to trivandrum city and airport. Nice campus with dense greenary
Dislikes
Placement Experience:
Huge offers are getting for students. It might change with respect to branches. In ECE, many core companies are offering students good packages. Future studies options are also there. Many students are qualifying GATE and CAT exams

- There are a number of places to hangout together with friends and spend time.
Dislikes
- There are not enough parking facility in the college
- The administration is a little lagging on providing proper and new lab equipments
Placement Experience:
The placements are pretty good. Almost 70+ percent of students gets placed. In AE the people getnplaced im instrumentation as well as electfonics core companies. Also a number of software companies approach the college as well. Texas instruments, bosch electric etc
