What is GLAET 2027?

GLAET stands for GLA University Entrance Test, also known as the Ganeshi Lal Agarwal University Entrance Test. It is a university-level entrance examination conducted by GLA University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. GLA University holds this exam every year to select candidates for undergraduate, postgraduate, lateral entry, and diploma programs.

The exam covers a wide range of programs — from B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering to MBA, MCA, BCA, BBA, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, M.Tech, and B.Ed. This makes GLAET one of the more versatile university entrance tests in North India, covering engineering, management, pharmacy, and education programs under a single umbrella.

GLAET 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Before you apply for GLAET 2027, you must check whether you meet the eligibility conditions for the program you want to join. GLA University sets different requirements depending on the course. Here is the program-wise eligibility breakdown.

B.Tech Eligibility

To apply for B.Tech through GLAET 2027, you need a valid Class 12 score from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.

• Subjects required: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12
• Minimum marks: 60% aggregate in PCM subjects
• For SC/ST candidates: Minimum 50% marks in PCM
• No upper age limit for B.Tech admission at GLA University

BCA and BBA Eligibility

• Class 12 from any stream from a recognized board
• Minimum 50% marks in Class 12

Steps to Fill GLAET 2027 Application Form

• Step 1 — Register: Go to gla.ac.in and create a new candidate account. Enter your email address and mobile number to get your login ID and password.
• Step 2 — Fill Personal and Academic Details: Enter your name, date of birth, contact details, Class 10 and Class 12 information, and the program you are applying for.
• Step 3 — Upload Documents: Upload a recent passport-size photograph and your signature in the required format and dimensions as specified in the instructions.
• Step 4 — Book Exam Slot: After filling the form, book your preferred exam date, time, and centre. Slot booking is done within the same application process — you do not need a separate step.
• Step 5 — Pay Application Fee: Pay the application fee online through credit card, debit card, or net banking. Offline payment through demand draft or cash at the university campus is also accepted.

GLAET 2027 Slot Booking

Slot booking is a step unique to GLAET and is done as part of the application process itself. Unlike most entrance exams with a single fixed date for all candidates, GLAET lets you choose when you appear. This is the slot-booking step that makes it possible.

GLAET 2027 Merit List

• Mathematics is worth 50% — start here: With 45 questions contributing 180 of the total 360 marks, Mathematics is the single highest-leverage section in GLAET B.Tech. Focus on Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Algebra, and Trigonometry. A strong score in Mathematics can compensate for a moderate performance in the other three sections.
• NCERT is your base for Physics and Chemistry: GLAET follows the CBSE Class 11 and 12 curriculum closely. Revise both NCERT textbooks thoroughly before moving to extra problem sets. Most GLAET questions on Physics and Chemistry can be answered directly from NCERT understanding.
• English is quick marks: The English section has the fewest questions but is easy to score in if you prepare the basics. Focus on synonym and antonym vocabulary lists, subject-verb agreement, tenses, and practice reading comprehension passages for about 20–30 minutes a day.
