Examples of Class 7 Chapter 13 Exponents & Powers
Ques 1. Represent 0.000000067 in scientific notation.
Ans. Scientific notation is always represented in terms of 10.
Therefore,
0.000000067 = 67 x 10⁻⁹
Ques 2. Represent 7800000 in scientific notation.
Ans. Scientific notation is always represented in terms of 10. Since the number is positive, no negativ sign is to be included in the power.
Therefore,
7800000 = 78 x 10⁵
