The revised group-wise cutoff scores for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET SS 2025) have been officially released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Issued on September 22, 2026, the updated qualifying threshold has been reduced from the 50th percentile to the 30th percentile across all 15 specialty groups.

This major revision was implemented following a directive from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), which succeeded a Supreme Court order dated September 17, 2026. The adjustment to the qualifying criteria is designed to widen the eligibility pool for the impending Special Stray Vacancy Round, which will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to address 1,857 vacant super-specialty seats.

The exam is scheduled on 26 December 2025 and 27 December 2025. The admit card has all the details and will be released on 22 December 2025. Reach the exam venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled reporting time, avoiding any delays.
