    PGIMER 2020 will be conducted in Online CBT Mode on May 23, 2020 for MD/MS July Session. The syllabus for PGIMER 2020 exam is drawn from Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, Clinical subjects and other important subjects in medical science that were studied by candidates in their M.B.B.S (U.G) degree program. The paper will consist of 250 MCQs.

    • A candidate will be given 3 hours to complete the test. No extra time will be allotted to the candidates

    PGIMER is the university level examination conducted twice in a year in January and July by Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh for admitting candidates in the postgraduate courses in medical science like M.D, M.S, etc. PGIMER 2020 entrance exam pattern has the provision for the negative marking.

    PGIMER 2020 Exam Day Instructions

    The following are the important instructions to be taken into account by applicants regarding PGIMER 2020 exam pattern: -

    • Candidates are requested to report to the exam hall one hour before the scheduled time for PGIMER 2020.
    • Hall tickets for PGIMER 2020 exam must be downloaded online and it will not be sent by post.
    • Candidates should report on time to the examination hall so that they will not be missing out any of the general instructions given by the exam hall invigilator related to PGIMER 2020 written exam and they will be given an orientation before the examination commences.
    • Candidates arriving after the on-site orientation begins will not be allowed to take PGIMER 2020 exam.
    • No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall before the expiry of the exam duration time.
    • Negative marks will be deducted for each and every wrong answer attempted and will badly affect PGIMER 2020 exam score obtained by candidate.
    • All the questions will be in English medium only and the questions will be of multiple choice questions (MCQ) type.
    • Candidates can meet the authorities of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), if they have any queries regarding PGIMER 2020 examination.
    • Candidates will be given admission in the postgraduate degree programs like M.S, M.D based on the percentage of marks scored by them in the entrance exam conducted by PGIMER Institute, Chandigarh.
    • All applicants need to check the official website of PGIMER Institute regularly to ensure that they are not missing out any important information or communication given by PGIMER Institute corresponding to the event of conduction of the PGIMER 2020 test.
    • Admission to any postgraduate degree is subjected to any changes that can be made by the institute. Under some unavoidable circumstances, the decision taken by the authorities and management of Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh is to be considered final and no further claims on the admission will be entertained.

    Hi Meenakshi, For getting admission in BPT course you need to qualify the entrance test conducted by the college
