AKTU Launches WhatsApp ChatBot to Respond to UPSEE Aspirants’ Queries

UPSEE 2020 aspirants from Uttar Pradesh can just dial +91 5222336810 to find answers to their queries, confirmed AKTU authorities.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has recently introduced a WhatsApp chatbot that will answer to all the queries of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2020 aspirants.

UPSEE is a state-based entrance examination conducted every year for admissions to engineering colleges across the state of Uttar Pradesh. 

This year, UPSEE 2020 is scheduled to be held on September 20 for entrance into B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Des, BHMCT, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, BFA and BFAD.


As per reports, in the previous years, about thousands of applicants would reach out on the helpline number for their queries. However, it was difficult to respond to each of them. With the introduction of a WhatsApp chatbot in 2020, responding to aspirants’ queries will be easier.

At the launching event, Vinay Pathak, Vice-Chancellor, AKTU, said, “The artificial intelligence-driven WhatsApp chatbot will provide real-time answers to the questions/queries related to UPSEE 2020 entrance exam.

If a candidate raises a question through the registered mobile of UPSEE 2020, then the information will be made available within seconds. 

Candidates can get information related to the examination, application number, examination results and counselling at any time through the WhatsApp chatbot.”

In addition to this, AKTU has declared the UPSEE 2020 results for admission in MTech, MArch, M Pharma, M Des and MURP courses. 

According to Vineet Kansal, UPSEE Coordinator, about 1700 candidates took the entrance exam this year, out of which, 1668 candidates managed to clear the entrance exam.
