New Delhi: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) of Assam has published the provisional state merit list for Assam MBBS and BDS admission 2023. This year, a total of 38,153 candidates have been chosen under the provisional merit list. The Assam MBBS merit list PDF can be obtained from the official website: dme.assam.gov.in. 

Candidates who have been selected through the Assam NEET merit list will have the option to modify or change their category until July 7, 2023. Moreover, if there are Assam candidates who appeared for NEET but did not find their names on the merit list, they also have the chance to apply until July 7. 

All the eligible candidates can take part in Assam MBBS counseling sessions, which are based on the NEET rank, for admission to 1100 MBBS and 50 BDS seats under the 85% state quota.

How to Download Assam NEET Provisional Merit List 2023? 

The Assam MBBS merit list contains important details such as candidate names, gender, category, total marks obtained, and NEET rank. To obtain the merit list in PDF format, please follow the steps provided below:

Step 1: Visit the official website: dme.assam.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the "Documents" section and click on the link labeled "Educational Notice-MBBS-BDS course."

Step 3: On the subsequent page, locate and click on the link for the provisional Assam state merit list of NEET UG 2023.

Step 4: Download the PDF file and verify your rank and roll number.

Step 5: Additionally, save the PDF for future reference.

How to Request Category Change or Inclusion in the Assam NEET UG Merit List 2023?

Candidates are required to prepare an application on plain paper, accompanied by valid documents, to be submitted at the DME office (located on the 2nd floor, Room No. 5) no later than July 7 if they wish to be included in the Assam NEET 2023 merit list. 

It should be noted that applications sent via post or email will not be accepted. Upon submission, candidates are advised to obtain an acknowledgment receipt.

The state counselling authority has announced that candidates whose names are listed in the Provisional Merit List and wish to change their category can now apply for the change by submitting the prescribed format and supporting documents in person at the office mentioned above (located on the 2nd floor, Room No. 5) before July 7, during office hours.
