The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC) 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result on the official website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Candidates who filled choices during the counselling window can now check their allotted college and download the provisional seat allotment letter.

The allotment letter is available for download from July 4 to July 9, 2026. Allotted candidates must report to their assigned institution for document verification and admission confirmation between July 7 and July 9, 2026. Failure to report within this window will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

UGEAC is the state-level counselling process for admission to BTech and other undergraduate engineering programmes across government and private engineering colleges in Bihar. Seat allotment is based on JEE Main 2026 ranks and the choices filled by candidates.

The allotment letter is generated through the candidate login on the BCECEB portal. Candidates need their application number and password used during registration.

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting

Candidates must carry the original documents along with self-attested photocopies to the allotted institution during the verification window. Missing or invalid documents will result in seat cancellation.

• JEE Main 2026 scorecard and rank card
• Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate for date of birth proof
• Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate
• Government-issued photo identity proof
• Category certificate, if applicable

What Happens After Round 1 Allotment?

Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 1 must physically report at the allotted college between July 7 and July 9, 2026. Document verification and admission confirmation are completed at the institution itself, not at the BCECEB office.

Candidates who wish to upgrade their allotted branch or college can opt for the second round. The Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on July 17, 2026. Applicants who do not report in Round 1 will lose their claim on the allotted seat.

6. Decide before Round 2 whether to lock the current seat or apply for upgradation.
