Delhi University (DU) Results

Delhi university conducts examinations twice a year. The examination for all the odd Semesters ( 1st, 3rd and 5th) is conducted in the months of November-December while the examination for all the even semesters (2nd, 4th and 6th ) is conducted in May-June. The university declares result for both the examination cycles  within a months time from the date of examination. The result is declared course-wise and semester-wise on university’s official website. The students need to check for their course once the result announcement process starts.

Although the university now follows choice based credit system, but it also conducts examination for ex-students belonging to annual examination system, ex-students enrolled under Four Year Undergraduate Program (FYUP), Ex-students from 3 Year Semester system of examination and ex-students enrolled to various postgraduate programs.

Delhi University Semester Exam Results:

University of Delhi follows the semester system of education and conducts examination twice a year. The only exception is Ph.D. Programs where in the candidates need to submit thesis at the end of the program. The result of Odd semester examination is usually announced in the month of January every year while the result of Even Semester examination is announced around the months of July-August.

Delhi University has begun the process of result declaration for odd semester exam conducted in November-December 2016. Candidates can check their result status, statement of marks, and list of declared results on the official website. Currently, the University has released result for the following courses:

  1. Under Graduate (3 year program) V semester result for B.Sc., BA (Hons.), BBS, and BBA.
  2. Under Graduate (4 year program/FYUP) V semester result for BA (Hons.), B.Sc., B.Com., BMS.
    1. Under Graduate (4 year program/FYUP) VII semester result for B.Tech.  

Delhi University Revaluation Results:

After the declaration of examination results, students can also apply for revaluation of their exam transcripts, in case they are not satisfied with their result. Application Forms for revaluation can be obtained from the administration section at the respective colleges or students can even download the revaluation form from the DU Website.

Delhi University Undergraduate Entrance Exam Results

Admission to most of the undergraduate courses is based on candidate’s scores in their higher secondary examination while the university also conduct entrance tests for admission to some undergraduate courses viz. B.El.Ed., B.Tech., BA (H) Humanities and Social Sciences, BA (H) Business Economics, BA (H) Multi Media and Mass Communication, BMS, BBA (FIA), and B.Sc. (PE, HE and S).

Delhi University Postgraduate Entrance Exam Results

University of Delhi (DU) also conducts a separate admission cycle to various postgraduate programs. The university admits candidates on the basis of their performance in the entrance test conducted by the university. The admission process for all the postgraduate courses begins in the month of May every year. There’s a separate test conducted for separate courses, the university usually conducts entrance tests for postgraduate programs in the month of June every year. The result for entrance test are announced in the first week of July.

The university declares results through admission lists that the university uploads on its official website. There’s a separate admission list for different master’s degree programs. Here is link to first admission lists for postgraduate programs for admission in the academic year 2016-17. The university also declares subsequent admission list in case all the seats are not filled through first admission list.

Delhi University M.Phil./Ph.D. Entrance Exam Results

University of Delhi (DU) conducts admission to the M.Phil. and Ph.D. Programs around the same time as it does for undergraduate and postgraduate courses i.e. in the month of May. The university conducts written entrance test for both the research programs. Students can apply through the university’s official website.

The university declares results for entrance test conducted for admissions in the academic year 2016-17 through their official website/DU Admission Portal in the month of July 10, 2016.
