Maharshi Dayanand University is the state university located at Rohtak, Haryana. It offers regular and distance education programs in various specializations of UG, PG, Ph.D/

How to Check MDU Results ?

Students can check their yearly/ semester results online at the official website of the university. Normally it takes 30-45 days for the university to publish the results. Follow the below mentioned steps to know how to check the results

The process of checking the results is quite simple 

  • The student must visit the official website of the university.
  • In the admission option, a dropbox appears.
  • Choose Results, choose the respective course/year.
  • Enter the roll number/admission number to know your results.

Students can also download the results from the official website. MDU aldi has provided this facility for the students to download the results. Follow the below mentioned steps to download the results: 

How to Download MDU Results ?

  • The student must visit the official website of the university.
  • In the admission option, a dropbox appears.
  • Choose Results.
  • For printing the results, the student must enter his/her respective hall ticket number along with date of birth.
  • Submit and take print out of the scorecard.

MDU Re - appear Examination 

Students can apply for re - appearing in a specific subject/course exam if he/she has failed to reach the required pass percentage.

  • Click here to download the instructions brochure.
  • Before applying for a reappearing exam, it is advised to go through the instructions.
  • The students can visit the official website and go to Examinations. A drop down box appears and the student can select Online Reappear Form
  • If the student has not registered, select Sign In and enter the register number,name etc to continue.
  • If the student has already registered, just enter the register number and password to continue.
  • The student's performance stats will already be present within the portal.
  • The student must select and enter all the required details accurately as once the submission and payment is done, there is no refund/ correction option.
  • The fee must be paid according to the number of subjects/ course through challan in Axis Bank. Other details are mentioned in the instructions brochure.
  • The process is considered as completed only when the student submits the print out of the form along with the payment details slip to the respective exam/ result department of the college.

MDU Revaluation Result

To apply for revaluation , the students can follow the following steps :

  • The form can be obtained through the official website. Go to the end of the official MDU page and click Forms.
  • The revaluation form can also be obtained offline from the college.
  • The student must fill the form accurately
  • The subject must be selected carefully.
  • A fee of INR 300 (may vary) must be paid by the method specified by the college.
  • The filled form along with fees must be submitted to the respective college office.

MDU Marking and Grading Scheme

  • First the student must have at least 65% attendance to appear for the exam. A relaxation of 20% will be given with the approval from the authorities due to valid reasons.
  • MDU college follows the CGPA method of evaluation. The scheme of evaluation is divided into : 20% internal assessment and 80% end semester exam.
  • 40% of marks in internal assessment, practical exams and final exams is compulsory for clearing the semester.
  • Passing marks in the end semester exam is 32 marks for 80.

This college provides a very organised option of result gazette, which can be downloaded in the form of PDF as per the student's requirement.

  • The student must visit the official website of the college.

  • Select Datesheet.
  • All the timetables of re appear, semester end exams etc can be downloaded.

MDU Exam Question Papers

This very useful option of downloading the previous year question papers for reference can be done by :

  • Visit the official website of MDU.
  • In the Examination option, a dropbox appears. 
  • Select Question Papers.
  • All the required prior year question papers can be downloaded for the better preparation for exams by the students.

MDU Examination Forms

Now students can download the examination forms for all the programs at the official website of MDU University. All the important forms required can be obtained in a single place by following the below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official MDU website.
  • Scroll down till the bottom of the main page.
  • Select Forms.
  • All the necessary forms like revaluation form, leave application form, wifi request form etc can be obtained.
  • These forms can be downloaded ,filled and submitted to the respective offices in the college.

MDU Admit Card

The students can download the admit card from the website a week prior to the exams. To seek the admit card :

  • Visit the official website of MDU.
  • In the Examinations option, a dropdown box appears.

MDU Entrance Exam

MDU conducts their own entrance exam MDUCEE in January. This exam is considered for admission for M.Sc and M.Pharm in across 7 colleges in Haryana.

How to Apply for MDUCEE ?

  • The student must visit the official website of MDUCEE and click New Registration.
  • Fill in all the details asked like name,contact information, email ID etc accurately as the further updates will be provided through the same.
  • Click Register Now and Continue to Pay option.
  • A fee of INR 600 must be paid. Students belonging to SC/ST can pay INR 150 .
  • If the student wants to apply for an extra course ,an extra fee of INR 300 must be paid . For students belonging to SC/ST UNR 75 is acceptable.
  • Click Pay Now and enter the required details for net banking. Click Continue to Application.
  • Here enter the details asked and upload scanned documents of the student's photograph and signature.
  • Click Save and Continue. Now fill the educational details asked.
  • Click Save. There will also be an option of editing.
  • The student can click Submit and Print and click OK.
  • The application print out must be preserved for future reference.

MDU Entrance Exam Results

  • Visit the official website of MDU .
  • Go to Admissions and a drop down box appears ,select Entrance Exam Results.
  • Select the link corresponding to the student's course.
  • The result document will be downloaded.

All the results for all the exams written in 2019 have been announced. Click here to download the results according to the courses.

The other results are scheduled to be released by July 2020.

In each result sheet, the following information will be mentioned

  • Serial Number
  • Roll number
  • Name
  • Father's name
  • Category
  • Marks scored.

If the student did not appear for the exam, ABS will be mentioned.
