Hyderabad, May 13, 2019: GITAM is one of the best deemed-to-be University in the state of Telangana. With reaching the epitome of success, the Department of English, School of Technology will be organizing a two-day National Conference on ‘Negotiating Spaces: English Literature and Language Teaching’. The event will take place on August 29 - 30, 2019 on the campus.
The conference is in association with the English Language Teachers’ Association of India (ELT@I). Prof. N. Siva Prasad, Pro Vice-Chancellor of GITAM released the details about the event recently.

GITAM Conference: Goals and Purpose
The main intention of the national conference is to provide a true platform to explore and fill the void created textually and contextually. The event will provide an opportunity for academicians, researchers, and students to discuss, deliberate and share their knowledge and experiences related to teaching and learning.
The participants can present their research papers at the event. The acceptable topics for the paper(s) are listed below:
Literature and Film
Drama and Theatre
Important Points for Research Papers:
- An abstract of about 250 words
- Font style: Times New Roman
- Font size: 12 with double spacing
Registration fee for the workshop
Given below is the application fee that needs to be paid at the time of registration.

- Registration fee includes conference kit, lunch, tea, and snacks during conference days.

Registration Procedure for the conference:
Participants are required to send an abstract of their work to email@example.com on or before June 30, 2019. Only original full papers are to be submitted before July 30, 2019. The best two papers among all will be published in The ELT Practitioner and other selected papers will be published in a book with ISBN.
