SSC announced that candidates with high temperatures are also allowed to appear for the SSC exam that is scheduled to start from October 12. A separate sitting arrangement will be made for such candidates.

The SSC (Staff Selection Commission) confirmed the news through an official notice on October 7. The Commission, in an earlier notice, stated that any candidate with COVID infection will not be allowed to give the SSC Exam 2020. Candidates with any COVID-19 indicating symptoms including fever, cough, cold, etc.will also be not permitted.

While entering the exam center, dedicated personnel will be employed to check the temperature of the candidate using a thermo gun. For the candidates with high temperatures, the sitting arrangement will be different.

The SSC updated the candidates saying that “Candidates with fever, cough, etc, will be allowed to appear in the exam in a separate isolated sitting arrangement.”

SSC Exams 2020: Guidelines to Follow

Due to COVID, students are required to follow the mentioned guidelines strictly:

Wear face masks (from the entry point till the exit point).
Carry alcohol-based sanitizers with you.
Carry your own water bottle. The bottle must be transparent.
To ensure social distancing, aspirants are advised to reach one hour before the reporting time.
To avoid overcrowding, the sitting arrangement will be made in such a manner that 6 feet distance is maintained between two adjacent candidates.
