CBSE Exam 2023: PIB Issues Warning Against Fake Website

New Delhi: The PIB has warned class 10 and 12 students to be cautious of the phoney CBSE website "cbsegovt.com" and further revealed that the actual CBSE Board exam portal is cbse.gov.in.

According to the official PIB alert, the fraudulent CBSE website also sought a registration fee for the board exam for the academic year 2022–34. The official PIB Twitter account provided information about the CBSE scam, claiming that students were required to pay the price in order to take the tests.

Students are urged to be on the lookout for fraud and to report it to the CBSE authorities. Every year, students who take the board exams for grades 10 and 12 are required to submit a List of Candidates (LOC) to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The CBSE Board did, however, propose this year that schools submit student lists for the CBSE Class 10, and 12 board exam in 2023 through the e-pariksha internet link provided on the CBSE official website, cbse.gov.in.

Additionally, it was announced that starting on September 17, 2022, the CBSE board had permitted private students to register for the CBSE board exams in 2023. Additionally, it was revealed that along with the yearly CBSE exam, the CBSE Board exams 2023 will likely be given in February, March, or April for students who study privately.

The Press Information Bureau (PIB), according to an official release, warned all students in grades 10 and 12 that "cbsegovt.com" is not affiliated with the Central Education Board and clarified that the official website for the CBSE Board is cbse.gov.in.

Along with the link for paying the exam money, the phoney page also established links for results and admission cards. The bogus website for exam schedules and fee payments was reported to the government. The fact-checked report from the PIB spread on social media and forewarned students about it.
