Telangana NEET MDS 2026 Phase 1 Reporting Deadline Extended; Check Revised Timeline

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has extended the reporting deadline for the first phase of Telangana Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) Counselling 2026-27. The revised order was published on the official website at knruhs.telangana.gov.in on September 25, 2026. Candidates allotted seats in the first phase under the Competent Authority Quota can now report to their allotted dental colleges up to September 28, 2026.

The extension applies only to candidates who have already received seats in the Phase 1 allotment. It does not provide any new opportunity for registration or choice filling. Candidates who fail to report within the revised deadline will lose their allotted seat.

What Has Changed for MDS Aspirants in Telangana?

KNRUHS had earlier provided a shorter reporting window for candidates allotted seats in the first phase of MDS counselling. Some candidates faced delays in completing document verification and fee payment procedures at their allotted colleges.

To support the allotted candidates, the university has extended the last date for physical reporting to September 28, 2026. The extension provides three additional days for completing admission formalities.

There is no change in the Phase 2 counselling schedule as of now. The seat matrix and Phase 1 allotment results remain unchanged.

Who Is Affected by the Extended Deadline?

The revised deadline applies only to candidates allotted seats in Phase 1 of Telangana NEET MDS 2026 Competent Authority Quota counselling.

The extension does not apply to:

• Management Quota admissions
• NRI Quota admissions
• Candidates waiting for Phase 2 counselling

Candidates who want to participate in seat upgradation can opt for the next counselling phase as per KNRUHS rules. Reporting under the current extension will not prevent participation in future rounds.

Which Documents Must Be Carried at Reporting?

Candidates should carry the following original documents and required copies:

• Provisional allotment letter issued by KNRUHS
• NEET MDS 2026 rank card and admit card
• MBBS/BDS degree certificate
• Year-wise mark sheets
• Internship completion certificate
• Dental Council registration certificate
• Class 10 and Class 12 certificates for date of birth proof
• Aadhaar card
• Passport-size photographs
• Residence proof

How to Complete Phase 1 Reporting for Telangana NEET MDS 2026?

Candidates who have received their provisional allotment order must complete the offline reporting process at the allotted dental college. Online reporting is not applicable.

Candidates must:

• Carry the provisional allotment order downloaded from the KNRUHS portal.
• Submit the NEET MDS 2026 scorecard and admit card.
• Provide the MBBS/BDS degree certificate, mark sheets, and internship completion certificate.
• Submit the Telangana local status certificate wherever applicable.
• Pay the tuition fee as per the allotted college fee structure.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Log in to knruhs.telangana.gov.in and download the provisional allotment order.
2. Arrange all original certificates and two sets of self-attested photocopies.
3. Confirm the tuition fee amount with the allotted college in advance.
4. Travel to the allotted dental college and report by September 28, 2026.
5. Collect the joining report and admission acknowledgement from the college office.
