CEED 2027 Registration Deadline Extended at ceedapp.iitb.ac.in; Check Last Date to Apply

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has extended the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2027 registration deadline. The new last date is November 5, 2026. Candidates can complete the online application on the official portal at ceedapp.iitb.ac.in.

The extension gives aspirants a few extra days to finalise their applications. Those who miss the regular window can still apply with a late fee. The late registration period closes on November 10, 2026 at 5 PM.

CEED is a national-level test for admission to master's and doctoral design programmes. The exam is conducted by IIT Bombay on behalf of the Ministry of Education.

Applicants must have completed or be completing a qualifying degree or diploma. The course must be at least three years long after Class 12. The qualification must be finished by July 2027.

Students currently in secondary school or just out of Class 12 should apply through UCEED instead. CEED is meant for master's and doctoral design admissions.

Which Institutes Accept CEED Scores?

CEED scores are used for admission to Master of Design programmes. These are offered at IISc Bangalore and several IITs. The participating IITs include IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Roorkee.

IIITDM Jabalpur also accepts CEED scores for its design admissions. Many institutes consider CEED for PhD design programmes too.
