CS Exam 2020: ICSI to carry forward Examination fees to June 2021 session; Read Details here

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has decided to carry forward the ICSI CS exam fees of the June 2020 examination to December, this year.

ICSI June 2020 exam has been combined with the December 2020 examination and will take place on December 21, 2020.

In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, students enrolled for the June 2020 examinations as well as new enrollments for ICSI CS December 2020 examination may want ICSI to postpone their exams further till the June 2021 session.

ICSI CS Exam 2020: New Guidelines

Keeping students' preference in mind, ICSI has issued some new guidelines are as follows:

• The students will be given an option to choose for the ICSI CS June 2021 exam rather than December 2020 session.
• The examination fee paid by the candidates previously would get carried forward to the next June 2021 session.
• The complete students' enrollment status would be forwarded to the next session, including module, center, medium, syllabus, and elective subjects.
• Students who want to seek additional modules must join separately and pay an additional fee for those modules in online mode.
• Any other changes in enrollment status will be permitted, according to the registration validity of Executive and Professional Programme students.
• The examination for three electives (Forensic Audit, Direct Tax Laws and Practice, Valuation and Business Modelling), will be held in the June 2021 sessions.
• However, the students who have already changed to the new syllabus will not be permitted to go back to the previous syllabus.
• Refund/ Adjustment/ Partial Carry forward of exam fee is not permitted.
• On the official website, candidates can request for carrying forward of fees through Google forms. The authorities would not entertain requests through any other means.
• Furthermore, once the request for carrying forward is made and the particulars are submitted through the Google form, it will be considered as final. No further changes would be accepted, on any account. 

The online portal in this regard is open from November 2, 2020, 00:01 hours to November 6, 2020, 23:59 Hours.
