Central University of Kashmir has released the UG Vacancy List 2026-27 for open counselling. Registration on cukashmiradm.samarth.edu.in opens on August 27 and closes on August 31, 2026, for vacant UG seats.

The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has released the Undergraduate (UG) Vacancy List for the Academic Year 2026-27. The university has opened open counselling registration for these vacant seats. Candidates can register on the official portal at cukashmiradm.samarth.edu.in from August 27, 2026. The registration window will close on August 31, 2026.
CUK open counselling round is meant for candidates who have appeared in CUET (UG) 2026. Candidates who cleared other national or state-level tests are also eligible. These tests include NEET, JEE, and JKBOPEE. Registration is open only against the notified vacant seats.

Who Is Eligible for CUK UG Open Counselling 2026-27?
Candidates must have a valid CUET (UG) 2026 scorecard to apply. Applicants who appeared in other recognised entrance tests can also register. These include NEET, JEE Main, and JKBOPEE examinations.
All applicants must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination. The programme-specific subject and marks criteria set by CUK will apply. Reservation policies of the Government of India will also be followed during merit preparation.

How to Register for CUK Open Counselling 2026-27?
The registration process is fully online through the Samarth portal. Candidates must complete the form within the five-day window. Late applications will not be considered by the university.

- Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Fill out the application form with academic and entrance test details.
- Upload scanned copies of the required documents.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee online.

What Happens After Registration?
The university will prepare a merit list from the registered applicants. Merit will be based on the entrance test score submitted. Shortlisted candidates will be called for programme-wise admission and fee payment.
Seat allotment will follow the notified admission schedule for the 2026-27 session. Candidates must complete document verification and pay the admission fee on time. Missing the payment deadline will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

Open counselling is the final chance to secure a UG seat at CUK for 2026-27. It also opens the door to non-CUET aspirants holding NEET, JEE, or JKBOPEE scores. Students who missed earlier rounds can still enter regular UG programmes.
