The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will manage deemed MBBS admissions for 2026. Some deemed medical colleges still offer full MBBS under Rs 1 crore. Counselling will happen on the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
Deemed universities are known for high MBBS course fees. But a small group stays below the Rs 1 crore mark. NEET UG 2026 aspirants get a lower cost private option here.
Deemed Medical Colleges With Total MBBS Fees Under Rs 1 Crore
The table lists deemed universities with total tuition under Rs 1 crore. Figures cover the 4.5 year academic course only. Hostel, mess, and exam charges are extra.

Hostel and mess add roughly Rs 1.5 to 2 lakhs yearly. Symbiosis Pune is a women only campus. Male candidates cannot apply for its MBBS seat.
NMC Rule on Internship Year Fees
The NMC issued a directive in April 2026 on tuition fees. Colleges cannot charge tuition for the compulsory one year internship. The published MBBS fee applies only to the 4.5 year course. Interns must also receive a stipend during the final year.
This rule stops deemed universities from adding a sixth billed year. It caps the paid MBBS duration at 4.5 years across India.
How to Apply for Deemed MBBS Seats Through MCC?
MCC handles 100 percent of seats in deemed universities. Candidates cannot approach the college directly for a general seat. The counselling runs across four rounds each year.
- Register on mcc.nic.in using NEET UG 2026 credentials.
- Pay the non refundable registration fee of Rs 5,000.
- Pay the refundable security deposit of Rs 2,00,000.
- Fill and lock choices of preferred deemed colleges.
- Report to the allotted college with original documents.
